On ESPN SportsCenter today, Brock Lesnar said he wished he never went to WWE. Lesnar said he went to WWE after college because he thought it would be a quick path to fame and riches, but that he now wishes he had gone straight to the NFL. Lesnar also again denied doing steroids.

When pressed further, Lesnar added "I didn't ask to be born!" then ran to his room, slammed the door, and said that he was "never coming out."

Wonder if he regrets making $10 million and getting to nail Sable?

I hate him even more now...thank you Y2Jerk for making me......later evening/early morning.

$100 says he'll be crawling back in a year or two.

And he does steroids. So does Benoit, Guerrero, Triple H, and anyone else who's in the main event capacity [/get the argument out of the way]

Lesnar was pure. He looked like that in college already. He also volunteers to take a test at the drop of a hat.

And WWE was a quick path to fame and riches, but his heart seems to have always been with real athletics.

I just want to ask if anyone still thinks that this is just a big ol' work...

It disgusts me that you hate a man for wanting to be happy.

I think it's apparent that when it comes to Brock Lesnar- Man of 1,004 Modes has no idea what the fuck he's talking about.

I could bring myself to hate him for bad-mouthing something that was very, very good to him.

Its not like Vince ever got a return on his multi-million dollar investment.

Well, its hurtful to read that, but I still hope he comes crawling back one day. I always loved his character (except when he was a face) and his ringwork.

If it was very good to him he wouldn't feel miserable and want to leave. And don't bring up money, because money isn't the most important thing in the world.

He got plenty of good wrestling matches out of Brock.

Oh, fuck Brock Lesnar.

I don't actually believe him for a second, but what an idiot. Now if his NFL career fails, he's burnt his bridges with WWE.

You think Vince will take him back?

I think he was paid to or just told to say that so that football is his focal point.

No way that sounds like his true feelings.

Hogan almost landed McMahon's ass in jail. Bischoff almost put him out of business.

What did Lesnar do? Nothing.

Good points.

No matter what Brock does against Vince and WWE, if he can bring him back and continue to make money from him, he will.

What makes you think he'll be happy playing football?

He hasn't even played since high school!

He's only trying the NFL because of the money. Otherwise, he'd be getting a job doing whatever-the-hell he went to college for.

Well he has said that his dream has always been to play football.....

How the hell do you know that? And I recall reading that he'll make LESS money as a low-level football player than he would as a top-level wrestler. And he's said his dream is to play football. So shut up.

I think Lesnar simply wants to be seen as a legitamite athlete. He didn't think he was getting the respect he deserved as a wrestler. Had making the NFL been his dream, he would have played the damn sport on college.

That's what I was thinking hence his nasty comments in the report.

the whole phrase was taken out of context on the show lesnar said "if I could go back I would have done things diferently and tried to play right out of college, but I was tired of being broke I had to eat" I watched the piece and he never said anything remotely bad about the wrestling business its obvious that the site that reported this probably didnt even watch it. Also Lesnar looks to be sincere about his efforts to play football and Tony Dungy a great coach stated that he believed that Lesnar has a lot of promise and upside I say let him take his chance and if he doesnt make it we all know he will be back and more than likely he will be back by Wrestlemania of next year then at least he will have a clear mind since he gave his dream a chance

From what I heard, he really never wanted to go to professional wrestling to begin with. He was starving and he decided that it was the best way to get out of the situation. But he ended up never being around his daughter because he was on the road all the time so he didn't want to do it anymore. That's why he regretted the decision, he didn't have a minute to spend with his child and he couldn't handle it.

His dream was to play football and it sounds like he would have picked football from the start if he wasn't broke. Now he has the money from the WWE and he can go after his dream of playing football and it will allow alot more free time than the WWE.

Wanting to follow a dream and spend more time with your kid is good enough reasons for me.

On that topic, there's no doubt in my mind that Guerrero does steroids. He's extremely jakked now compared to what he looked like in 1997.

Brock looked quite a bit smaller on the ESPN segment than he was in WWE, so he may already be off or toning down his useage of whatever he was on.

It's pretty clear he's naturally a pretty big guy anyway. But passing a steroid test doesn't mean much because there's a lot of undetectable steroids out there that are unknown. Meltzer has said on his radio show that the stuff with Balco was just the tip of the iceberg.

And Man Of 1004 Modes just earned about a million respect points, I didnt think it possible but I hate Brock even more now too, and compared to how much I hated him before, well thats a whole lot of hate.

Serioulsy though if Brock hated it so much he should of never joined the WWE, he was just wasting his time and everyone elses time for watching him on TV.

Well, he's also been laid up a good bit with some injuries since he left WWE, as well as not tossing around 250lb. men every night in addition to his usual workout regimen. Every picture has shown him as only very slightly smaller. Rock's not as buff as he used to be, does that mean he was on steroids also?

So if a person embarks on a career, realises it's not making him happy and quits to do what he really wants then he deserves to be hated?

Brock didn't know going in he was going to wind up unhappy. He put on some good matches and worked hard for the most part.

Let it go. Grow up.
