What will Eugene pull off next week?

Of course i'm a big Eugene fan, and i'm really excited for next weeks show. I can see Eugene booking the most insane matches that are totally out there. Just as long as we don't get a Garrison Cade vs Rhyno main event, i'm happy. What do you guys think Eugene will do?

Not only that... probably have a few goofy gimmick matches and segments which will drive us nuts, but the average mark will love.

I suspect Regal will get a match with Kane or Batista, maybe even a handicap match.

 

There'll probably be at least one handicap match for an Evolution enemy.

 

And the outside possibility of a Coach match.

I'm going to just throw out that I used to really like this storyline up until this past RAW. Now they've completely destroyed anything they've built up for the past few months just cause HHH wants to be booed a little bit more. The Regal/Eugene relationship was the best thing they had and now its gone.

they SHOULD have Regal be the one to turn on Eugene to give him instant massive heel heat, but of course HHH will be the one turning just to make us hate him more than we already do which isn't necessary...

I actually like where this is all going. By doing this, HHH is getting major heat. Heck, I am beginning to hate HHH like I used to back in the mark days. The match he reffed was perfect. I loved how HHH turned everything onto Regal at the end.

 

But, I think the next RAW will be basically Eugene, with HHH floating in the background, but hopefully, Eugene gets to book some insane matchups.

What did you guys expect them to do with Eugene? He got over a lot more then WWE expected. He was only going to be a special attraction for so long.

 

You can't have him in the mid-card going over guys like Orton or Christian. Feuds with La Resistance and Coach were already getting old. Maybe a tag team with Regal?

 

A lot of people on this board were saying the Eugene character wouldn't stay over for long. WWE probably thought the same thing so they're milking it for all it's worth.

but like i said, HHH doesn't NEED to do this to get heat, he already has it...Regal isn't the most popular guy so I don't ever see him being a face...they could of used this the right way to establish him as a monster heel and get him into the upper midcard...unless of course you guys don't WANT to see another heel besides HHH...

Eugene could be a very good tool to boost the characters of talents on the roster. Every wrestler could have a different perspective and reaction to him that could help develop their character. Coach got tremendous heat off of Eugene. Regal is fantastic with him. They haven't tapped into his relationship with Benoit - we don't know why Benoit helps him other that "because he's a good guy and good guys do good things". Bischoff actually has a reason to be a bad guy, which is a helluvalot better than what he has been doing before. I think Orton could get a lot off of Eugene as well. But so far, he's being _wasted_ on HHH. HHH manipulates people and is bad - WOW - haven't seen THAT before. He has seperated everyone from Eugene (with the help from the storyline) so no one else can benefit.

If Eugene is a life-long wrestling fan, yet his favortie wrestler is Triple H does that mean he's always been a fan of the heels?

 

If so he should act like old-school heels in the ring, and not Hulk Hogan, JYD, etc.

 

Ah nevermind Iam just rambling. But it would be cool to see him stuff a bill in his oppenents mouth after he put them in the million dollar dream. Or spray them with (oh what was it called) Rick Martels perfume.

I am just wondering if they are actually gonna try to act like Regal/Benoit couldn't have obtained the Raw footage to show Eugene what really happened.

 

I still never saw the logic in a character like Eugene picking Triple H of all people as his "favorite wrestler"

 

Eugene is going to be the next overexposed gimmick that will fall flat in another month or two......if it isn't already starting that is.

Regal as a heel is _so_ not what they should do. Regal could be a BIG TIME face if played right and it would actually be a FRESH approach at a face character - I love the "I know I'm a miserable person, always have always will be... but I love that kid.." - its fantastic. To ruin that is to ruin something that deals with HEART, and the WWE is missing that and has for a long, long while.

I'm hoping that Jericho goes to Eugene next Monday and Eugene grants him a shot at the World Title. It's in Winnipeg and the heat on Jericho winning would be nuclear. This would also give Benoit a chance to act like a fucking prick and beat the shit out of Jericho. Give 'em 20 minutes and you'll have a MOTY candidate.

 

Of course, in reality, HHH will convince Eugene to make a 2 on 1 handicap match with Jericho against Batista and Flair. Yowza.

Plus, Jericho vs Batista is already slated for Vengence IIRC.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing Benoit/Jericho vs HHH/Batista in Winnipeg next week, though nothing would top Benoit vs Jericho for the title.

Face Regal playing the straight man to Eugene, or in the past Tajiri, has always been gold. I also think the Regal/Eugene relationship gives some depth to Regal other than snobby British prick who can wrestle. Like Rudo said, it shows that even as despicable as he is, he has his limits. The Regal turn has seemed rushed and not well fleshed out at all (it never actually happened, we just had Regal and Bisch have the falling out), and it was done pretty much, IMO, to make Trips look like that much more of an asshole. If I were booking this angle, I'd have had Triple H in Regal's ear at first, making sure Eugene played ball and didn't suspect anything, only to have Regal grow more and more frustrated with Triple H's exploitation of the poor guy and snap. Regal whipping out the brass knux and popping every in Evolution in the jaw would be a great scene.
