Do a massive purge and then lock accounts for awhile too so they can't just re-register. Hell, that's one of the most common pieces of advice given to newbies: keep your mouth shut and pay attention for a while, so you won't say anything you shouldn't. If we have the board set up so that you have to be a member to view it, it's terribly unfair to delete all the accounts of people who just want to read the threads.
