Nighthawk Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 Furries don't really seem like geeks to me. More like perverts. It's a line, but I've seen finer.
Nighthawk Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 You could probably fit wrestling fans into the pervert hierarchy as well.
Nevermortal Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 WWE fans -> Indy Fans -> Puro Geeks -> Old School (In my day we didn't have to be high spot ka-teers!) fans
Nighthawk Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 Maybe to other wrestling fans. To the general public, it would be more like Puro>Indy>WWe>Old School. At least it's something different if you watch those things, and the less they know about it, the better you seem. Once you get to know them, you'll see that they're an equally pathetic loser, however.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 If someone called me a geek for buying a replica sword from LOTR Id cut their head off, but not with the sword.
k thx Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 If someone called me a geek for buying a replica sword from LOTR Id cut their head off, but not with the sword. That wouldn't make you a geek. Just a pathetic goth twat.
Guest Temet Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 WWE fans -> Indy Fans -> Puro Geeks -> Old School (In my day we didn't have to be high spot ka-teers!) fans ... > GameFaqs wrestling fans. I've eaten hot dogs smarter than some of those people.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 A Trekkie getting married as a Klingon should be geekier than the 13 year old gamers of any sort. Those kids still have a chance to grow out of it. Getting married as a Klingon, though? That's a commitment.
Slayer Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 Getting married as a Klingon, though? That's a commitment. Baru'kh t'al!
MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 If someone called me a geek for buying a replica sword from LOTR Id cut their head off, but not with the sword. That wouldn't make you a geek. Just a pathetic goth twat. On the chart "People who buy expensive replicas of fictional fantasy swords" is right above furries in terms of geekdom. I dont really see whats so goth about having a LOTR sword..
TheBigSwigg Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 WWE fans -> Indy Fans -> Puro Geeks -> Old School (In my day we didn't have to be high spot ka-teers!) fans ... > GameFaqs wrestling fans. I've eaten hot dogs smarter than some of those people. Try reading the TNA sponsored forums (tnawrestling.fanserv.com). Those people are dumber than flaming bags of shit.
razazteca Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 Anime fans > Anime fans that demand subtitles > Otaku > Hentia fans > Erotic Cosplay > Furries > ICP fans who demand to be called Juggalos > Getting married in KISS makeup.
geniusMoment Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 I think wrestling fans are thought more of as dumb jocks or rednecks, not geeks. At least in the schools I went to that seemed to be the case.
Guest Hero to all Children Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 Furry ... Furries are people who like the Loony Toons a tad bit too much to be healthy. Think of spirirt animals as the elder cultures had them, then think of two ugly people in body-suits that make them look like bi-ped animals having sex, marrying in these fur-suits and being generally total fags about it. Not to forget the guys who draw these ripped wolfmen all of the time while being tooth-pick geeks. It's disturbing. THEY LIKE TO FUCK ANTROMORPHIC ANIMALPEOPLE OR AT LEAST FANTASIZE ABOUT IT.
Nighthawk Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 Not entirely. A furry can just... like anthropomorphic animals, in a sense that I don't really understand, but not sexual. Sexualizing it is another class. I think it's a little better, actually, because I can sort of understand their motivation, I mean, people like sex. The other kind... I just don't know where they're coming from.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 I refuse to believe that people majoring in mythology are on the same level as video gamers and anyone else on the top level. They deserve to be at the bottom of the list.
