Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Dee Snider is the fucking man. His comments about the "Enter Sandman" video were great. "It made you want to get up, run around the room, and worship Satan." GOLD.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 If Henry Rollins doesn't make an appearance in this, someone at VH1 will die.
Crimson G 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 I can't be the only one who marked out when the Black Ranger appeared in the Family Matters segment. You weren't the only one.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 I can't believe they left out the #1 grossing movie of 1991: T2. It would have been high on my list for that year, and certainly should have been there instead of stuff like Thelma and Louise, Point Break, etc.
DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 I can't be the only one who marked out when the Black Ranger appeared in the Family Matters segment. You weren't the only one. He's actually awesome on I Love The 90's (and I also saw Amy Jo Johnson, aka Kim, the first Pink Ranger)
KingPK 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Jurassic Park came out 11 years ago? I feel old. Â The book was better, though.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 (edited) Can someone tell Susan Power that VH1 has already DONE I Love the 80s, so she doesn't have to dress like that? Â Amy Jo Johnson was probably the first woman I wanted to fuck, I'm not ashamed to admit that. Still want to. Edited July 14, 2004 by Kingpk
razazteca 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Season one of Power Rangers was great. Gotta love the bad japanese dubbing.
Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Jurassic Park came out 11 years ago? I feel old. Â The book was better, though. The book is a good read, however, it has one fatal flaw: Â Malcom dies in the first book. They bury him on the island. He comes back in The Lost World with a cane and nothing is said of his DEATH AND BURIAL. Â This became a running joke in the 8th grade when a friend of mine and I both read it. KingPK 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 It's true...Aerosmith is never going away. And I think Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler were 2 and 3 on my list.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Hmm...I thought they would have mentioned the whole Michael Jackson thing from 93.
BX 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 No, they are going to save Michael Jackson for the inevitable "I love Six Months Ago!" show on September 25th.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 I have a feeling we will be seeing another "I love the 90s" in the future. You heard it here first. Â Also, Amy Jo Johnson is STILL hot, how old is she now?
KingPK 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 (edited) She was born October 6, 1970, so almost 34 years old. She's on some Practice type show on Lifetime now. Â Oh, and if you have KaZaa, search for "Pursuit of Happiness" (or look for the movie, I guess). She does a brief nude/sex scene. Can't really see much (can kind of make out her breasts), but it's something. Edited July 14, 2004 by Kingpk
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Where's Kotz? I saw ::shudder:: Kylie in the 1992 show.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Oh, I saw. This show gets my undivided attention for the rest of the week now. Why do you think I wasn't here posting about it?
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted July 14, 2004 the highlight for me so far was Ice-T bashing Arrested Development  "take me back to Tennesee? So I can get whupped again? Kiss my ass."
Guest Olympic Slam Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Amy Jo Johnson was probably the first woman I wanted to fuck, I'm not ashamed to admit that. Still want to. Same here. I mean really, who didn't want to give up their Pink Ranger POGS because you were all so THAT much in love? Â Â Oh yeah, and this show so needs Donal Logue. Adam 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 PK, OS, I'm glad I wasn't the only one. Amy Jo Johnson was the first crush I had as a young bloke of about 8 or 9. The Power Rangers kicked 57 different kinds of ass. I was the Black Ranger in our game back in the 3rd grade.
smh810 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 I thought 90 and 91 suffered from too much Michael Ian Black who was funnier in smaller doses in the previous decade shows. Last night shows were better, and Ice T-s comments on Arrested Development absolutely floored me. However, how can you mention 1993 without Beavis and Butthead? I can buy Right Said Fred and Ren and Stimpy being in the 1992 show when both debuted in 1991, but Beavis and Butthead belongs in 1993.
Guest Birds in the Hotel Report post Posted July 14, 2004 Maybe it's cause I'm older, but I'm not feelin all the power rangers love here. Â I think this series seems kind of rushed. Maybe when they do "I love the 90's STRIKES BACK" it'll get better. Plus, they have way more stuff to touch on.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 I'll admit that the original Power Rangers was a guilty pleasure of mine at one time, but I've never even tried the newer incarnations of it. Â However, I'm surprised no one on the show ripped Power Rangers for being the Voltron rip off that it was.

haVoc 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2004 The dancing baby got old quick. Ice Tea "You got a problem" has been kind of funny. David Lee Roth shouldn't talk when it comes to cockroaches, Aerosmith and others. Â The highlight so far is Jerry Cantrell saying Kurt Cobain sucked on guitar. Guest Birds in the Hotel Report post Posted July 14, 2004 I thought more time would have been spent on 93, the gangsta rap. They touched on Snoop and The Chronic, but I really thought more time would have been devoted.
