Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 Credit, wrestling observer website "Test will be undergoing neck fusion surgery soon under Dr. Lloyd Youngblood which means he'll be out of action for a year plus" Calm down now. Take a deep breath. I know this is devastating news for all of us. Please keep the laughter to a minimum.

Guest Staravenger Report post Posted July 12, 2004 I don't wish injury on anyone, but to say I miss Test on RAW every week would be a lie. At least he's getting the REAL Surgery and not getting the 6 month fix before needing another.
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 Good luck to Test in his future projects.
caboose 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 I mark for Test. Now I cry...
BHK 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 When was the last time Test was even ON Raw? I can't remember.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 12, 2004 Test got lucky here...If I recall, WWE doesn't fire people when Injured. He was all but fired, even with Stacy's influence. Test caught a break (literally and figuritively). I'll miss his classic acting though "OW MY LEG! IT HURTS! OW OW!"
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 12, 2004 When was the last time Test was even ON Raw? I can't remember. Around Mid Feb when Orton blindsided Foley Randy Orton: Get off! Test: Hey, Man I just wanted to break off a piece is all.

Australian Pride 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Guess Stacey will need someone to help keep her, uh, pleasured. *puts hand up for job* I actually always liked Test, and thought they could have used him better, despite the shoddy acting. Hope he comes back and gets some sort of push (hey, Hardcore Holly got one so why not Test)
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 I wonder why he didn't go the Angle way and see Dr. Jho.
Guest Staravenger Report post Posted July 13, 2004 I wonder why he didn't go the Angle way and see Dr. Jho. Give credit to Test for actually having a functional brain.
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Test got lucky here...If I recall, WWE doesn't fire people when Injured. He was all but fired, even with Stacy's influence. Test caught a break (literally and figuritively). I'll miss his classic acting though "OW MY LEG! IT HURTS! OW OW!" For me, that match is the highlight of Test's career. He rocked that out so well. If reports didn't indicate that Test was so much of a dick, I'd be all about a big push for him when he comes back. I like his look, and his wrestling doesn't make me sick. Unfortunately, I just can't feel bad for the guy.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 I bet if Test was healthy the majority of the OVW pushes would not have happened? As you can see it is very hard to replace a talent like Test.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 How the hell did he get injured? Wouldn't a neck injury require you to do something other than punch/kick/knee/slam? He wasn't exactly known for taking a hell of a lot of bumps.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Did'nt it happen at a house show? By John the Nazi Heighnricher?
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Did'nt it happen at a house show? By John the Nazi Heighnricher? It might have been Heidenreicher, but I remember him hurting Stevie Richards and Spike Dudley moreso.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Sad thing is, Test had an interesting moveset a few years back. Pumphandle Slam, Diving Powerbomb, Top Rope Elbow. I enjoyed him back then.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted July 13, 2004 That's too bad. Oh well, one mustn't grieve forever.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 13, 2004 they blew it with Test in 1999. He should have been huge then. TEST=HHH's first burial.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Test was good in RTC and UnAmericans but pairing him with Stacy and Steiner killed his career.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Test was good in RTC and UnAmericans but pairing him with Stacy and Steiner killed his career. When was he in RTC? I don't believe he ever was. Did you confuse him with Val Venis?
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Test worked the House Show here and was giving Cade a shoulder massage and patted him on the ass 3 times. I was worried this was the early stages of another Billy/Chuck type thing.
Guest stylz Report post Posted July 13, 2004 If reports didn't indicate that Test was so much of a dick, Actually, he's a pretty nice guy...I've met him a couple of times and he's always been prety cool. Hope his surgery goes well and he's back in action soon. Some may laugh at the "back in action soon" part, but if they ever came up with something decent for him, he's still got quite a few good years left in him. Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 13, 2004 People always reported Test to be a dick because Test is one of those "always in character" guys. when he was a face, he was friendly.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted July 13, 2004 , he's still got quite a few good years left in him. J "left in him" seems to imply that he's started using up his good years.
Guest stylz Report post Posted July 13, 2004 I really don't think that's case...right now he's technically "heel" and "not with Stacy" character-wise but a friend of mine was chillin with both of them at a club last week and he was pretty cool. He actually mentioned that he was getting his neck fused. Maybe because it's just the "in thing" to be a Test basher in the IWC. J
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Maybe because it's just the "in thing" to be a Test basher in the IWC. J Well, the man's been in the company since 1999 (1998, but it was December) and has had all of two good matches, a year and a half apart, with the last good match being over three years ago. It's not like it's unwarranted.
