Guest The Last Free Voice Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 Hero/Whitmer and Shelley B-Boy should be good. I really don't follow any "hardcore" or "ultraviolent" shit, so I couldn't hazard a guess on teh other stuff.
Epic Reine Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 If BJ Whitmer was good, I'd be interested in him vs. Hero, but meh. Shelley/B-Boy should be interesting since their two different styles.
PsychoDriver Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 CZW is really kicking ass as of late. And with SUPER DRAGON coming in Sept. (Please book Hero Vs. Dragon) It's only getting better. EDIT: They have also just annouced Homicide Vs. Messiah! In what should be a hell of a match. Finally they give the Messiah a challenge...
Guest Aecas Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 Shelly Vs. B-Boy is the match to watch out for. And Super Dragon is coming back? Rock on then, Hero Vs. Dragon would be interesting.
ulfistgut Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 Sonjay vs. Rave has been added based off Rave's win at BoTB4 The talent also appearing Also going to be appearing at Possession on August 14th will be All Money Is Legal making their CZW return, Roderick Strong, Bobby Quance, "Spyder" Nate Webb, Jon Dahmer, Jay Lethal, Derek Frazier, Chri$ Ca$h & Justice Pain will be at the CZW Arena! The show is stacked. Theres all sorts of interesting combinations of guys there with varying styles. I love how after putting on two shows set in two styles in the last month CZW is putting on a really mixed card with all sorts of styles and some interesting mixes too.
Placebo Effect Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 Hopefully I'll be able to go to this. I haven't been to a CZW show since October or November.
thuganomics Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 Outside of Shelley, Hero, and now Jay Lethal, I really don't care that much for CZW. They waste too much time on people like the Messiah, Adam Flash, and Justice Pain. Meh.
Guest Soylent Green Is People Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 Homicide/Messiah should be one of the best CZW World Title matches in a very long time, i'm very much looking forward to Shelley/B-Boy which will no doubt be great, Hero/Whitmer i've seen plenty of times but should be a good match, a good-looking Jr. Title match, not to mention guys like Bobby Quance, Jay Lethal and Roderick Strong still to be booked and we should be looking at a very good show to continue the momentum they've built up with BOTB and TOD.
Guest j.o.b. squad Posted July 31, 2004 Report Posted July 31, 2004 they added a 4way with quance Vs roderik strong Vs jay lethal Vs arik cannon
Guest Real F'n Show Posted July 31, 2004 Report Posted July 31, 2004 I've read on the czwfans boards that Quance vs. Super Dragon has been signed for 9/11 apparently. Not sure how accurate that is...
Guest j.o.b. squad Posted July 31, 2004 Report Posted July 31, 2004 the only source that has said that so far was pwinsider.com . czw has not made mention of it yet so i woude classify that one as a rumor for the time being.
DCMaximo Posted July 31, 2004 Report Posted July 31, 2004 So what's the deal with Trent Acid at the mo? He no-showed BOTB and Justice Pain was the man who was supposed to deal with Acid, but Trent's not been booked on these shows. Has he fallen out with Zandig again? Messiah/Homicide looks great though- I'm a big Messiah mark, but he always ends up facing guys like Wifebeater or Gage and always looks weak in victory.
Guest trickstyle_360 Posted July 31, 2004 Report Posted July 31, 2004 Trent Acid didn't want to job to Homicide or Jack Evans. He also didn't agree with Pain coming back. So yeah, he quit CZW. Also, Quance vs Super Dragon was on PWinsider.com reported by Mike Johnson. It's rare that Mike is wrong, so I'm gonna assume it's true.
DCMaximo Posted July 31, 2004 Report Posted July 31, 2004 That's disapointing, although he wasn't particularly impressive after his comeback, bar the Hart match, and, for a face, he was acting quite strangely at Trifecta Elimination II, spitting on the fans. At least these shows looks great. I was fearing that, after the two big shows (BOTB and TOD), they might go downhill again (Trifecta Elimination was horrible), but I'm pretty happy with this card. Only question is who Messiah will drop the title to, since it was obvious that Acid was being groomed to take it from the Messiah. Maybe it's time for a Messiah face turn, which'll give him two ready-made opponents in Flash and Pain.
Guest j.o.b. squad Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 czw put up a news article. making changes announcments and whatnot main points - hero will be forced to defend the ironman title in the rest of his xss tourney matches - iron man title matches will be changed to 1 fall w/no time limit - added to 9/11 show mike quackenbush, mr. zero, hallowicked, larry sweeney
Guest j.o.b. squad Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 added iws 4way on 9/11 also pain has issued an open challange for the august show.
Nevermortal Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 added iws 4way on 9/11 also pain has issued an open challange for the august show. I'm thinking Pain's opponent could be the 'Beater, provided he's ready to go after TOD.
Guest j.o.b. squad Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 yeah beater is the obvious choice. given the fact that pain storyline wise put beater out of action the first time. also the fact that pain made a point of not going to the ring for beaters retirement at night of infamy 1.
ulfistgut Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 I'm really hoping CZW capitalise on what looks like another regular 3 month boon. Normally, after a few fantastic, well promoted shows they decide 'Fuck It' and just throw random shit out for the next couple. Either way, August show looks amazing and I'm really really looking forward to the IWS 4 way. All 4 guys work a fantastic mix of flying, bumping, wrestling and innovative moves. Mixed together, and with a large stage, the match could be a fantastically exciting mix of wrestling.
JoeDirt Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 added iws 4way on 9/11 also pain has issued an open challange for the august show. Which IWS guys?
ulfistgut Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 added iws 4way on 9/11 also pain has issued an open challange for the august show. Which IWS guys? (It says at the top) Sexxxy Eddy vs. Kevin Steen vs. El Generico vs. Excess69
Guest j.o.b. squad Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 reformated for the two saturday shows added b-boy Vs superdragon Vs quance Vs excalibur to the 9/11 early show
