Rob E Dangerously Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040731/nysa015_1.html He said he's only going to raise the tax on the so-called rich. But you know how the rich is, they've got accountants. That means you pay. That means your small business pays. It means the farmers and ranchers pay. That's the wrong medicine for this economy, and we're not going to let him prescribe it. So.. since rich people have accountants, small businesses will suffer. You know how the rich is, ya know.. Damn accountants

tommytomlin Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 What if you're an accountant with a small business?! WHAT THEN?!
Jobber of the Week Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 But what if you're a rich farmer/ran.... Oh, fuck it.
Guest thebigjig Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 And this man graduated from YALE?! Jesus Christ...
Guest CronoT Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 And this man graduated from YALE?! That's still debateable.
2GOLD Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 Graduate of YALE User of drugs Sorta cancels out the first one.
Guest GreatOne Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 And next John Edwards will tell us how John Kerry will put his WIFE on the line to defend America!
Guest SideFXs Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 Graduate of YALE User of drugs Sorta cancels out the first one. Graduate of Yale Drank heavily, did not use drugs. Falling into an abyss George Bush.... Found God, found character, and honesty. Stands by his principles and his decisions. Tries to defend your ass from terrorism. Anyone this shallow and has to condemn someone by their past deeds, certainly has to have something to say about Kerry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Raise taxes on the super rich, the incentive becomes "Hide-the-money" Lower taxes, the incentive becomes spend the money to make a profit. This generates more tax revenue, money goes into the economy, and that benefits all of us!
Guest thebigjig Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 And next John Edwards will tell us how John Kerry will put his WIFE on the line to defend America! Is this what you call "bringing something to the table" ?
Guest thebigjig Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 Anyone this shallow and has to condemn someone by their past deeds, certainly has to have something to say about Kerry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think thats what he meant when he said that the drug use cancels out his college education... In any case, I don't criticize Bush for taking drugs and being an alcoholic. Never have, never will. I make fun of him from time to time, but that's not the point. I just find it incredibly funny that someone that appears THAT incredibly stupid, graduated from one of the country's top ivy league colleges. Oh, and put some more exclamation points on there... I don't think you've driven your point home with just 48
Jobber of the Week Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 Drank heavily, did not use drugs. Actually, he never denied that he didn't do coke, but he never said he did either. The best answer we got out of him was that he'd pass the qualifications given to his staff, which is to not have done drugs over a certain number of years. He won't give a straight answer for anything before that. Stands by his principles and his decisions. Raise taxes on the super rich, the incentive becomes "Hide-the-money" Lower taxes, the incentive becomes spend the money to make a profit. Actually, it's the middle and lower class that spends the money. The highest classes just puts it back away in their bank and considers it money saved.
2GOLD Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 Anyone this shallow and has to condemn someone by their past deeds, certainly has to have something to say about Kerry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do. He looks like a borg and I wouldn't trust him to tell me the truth about a used car. Just cause I dislike Bush, doesn't mean I like the walking human bore Kerry. As far as I'm concerned, the intel level and everything else is dead even on Bush and Kerry which I will won't vote for either one of the controlled saps.
Guest Fire and Knives Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 Graduate of YALE User of drugs Sorta cancels out the first one. No, it doesn't. Drugs don't make you that stupid. It might take a pothead a long time to form complete sentences, but at least those sentences make a modicrum of sense. K.

NoCalMike Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 So what exactly was Dubya getting at, that the rich knew how to cheat their taxes, so they wouldn't REALLY have to pay the new taxes assigned to them? Looks like he is getting smarter every day.....
Guest MikeSC Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 At least Bush would recognize Jefferson, something Clinton failed to do when visiting Monticello. -=Mike

I'm voting for Mr. Roboto!'
Styles Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 Let it be known that I do not feel GreatOne fairly represents the conservative viewpoint here, nor do I feel he posts maturely when he tries. I actually left the WWE folder after expiriencing him, yet he's found his way here. So, I motion to General Dr. Tom and Colonel KKK to refuse entry into the KKKonservative Brigade, and to make it known that we do not condone his attempts. I really have no idea where Mike stands on this, but he's seemed a little burnt out in his postings lately anyway. Oh, and just so I don't neglect my duties as a member: You know why Michael Moore's last name is that? Because he always eats MORE....get it?!!? More, moore...ehem....is this thing on?

The guide replied with "That's Thomas Jefferson" -=Mike

Because it was Al Gore, not Bill Clinton, who was 'involved' in that. I'll just point out that after the 1992 election, Clinton and Gore were touring Monticello. They entered a room adorned with several busts. Algore asked, "Who are these fellows here?" To which the guide replied, "Well that's Thomas Jefferson, and that's George Washington over on the right." The best part of the clip is Clinton getting as far away from Gore as fast as possible so as to not be in any potential photograph of the moment Although, the fact that there's about no real proof behind this claim must not be that discouraging to you Mike

And, to patronize you Mike since Clinton's mention is necessary to you, who would Jefferson be more likely to hypothetically support - Bill Clinton or George W Bush?
Guest MikeSC Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 Nobody knows. He was very much opposed to a strong centralized government, so him supporting the "Hell, let's nationalize health care" Clinton seems a little far-fetched. Well, I just did some more checking. I think I figured out why I could find nothing on that. Because it was Al Gore, not Bill Clinton, who was 'involved' in that. So Gore WAS dumber than Bush. I, yet again, am proven right. -=Mike ...I know, anybody good in history would side with the Democrats...
