Why can't people who have been in the previous 2 games, like The Hurricane, Lita, Dudleys, Tajiri be in the game. How hard would it be to have them in the game?

Because most of you have to realize..this game has been in production for a while..and the base of all the models, ,is from earlier this year...or technically, later last year. So you won't be seeing a lot of things from now..just because it's coming out now. (which makes sense). Although they did do things, such as update Takers look..so I don't see why they couldnt update a few others.

 

And I dont know why the Dudz aren't in the game...they had said, it'd be the WMXX roster...so everyone at the event in the game..but evidently they changed their minds.

The lack of roster doesn't surprise me at all. Gamecube wrestilng games have had the weakest rosters so far. As long as the CAW is good along with the storyline and controls I ain't bitching, but if they ain't oh nelly look out!

20 bucks says you can re-create the Montreal incident in 3P mode. Be Hebner the referee, no sell a ref bump, and ring the bell while Bret's escaping the sharpshooter.

Does anyone know if LEgends still have shit for entrances in this game? If I can't hear Beefcake's theme, he's as useless as he is in real life.

That is actually incorrect I believe...you don't fight jobbers...instead you use a cAW instead of a regular person. Here is a vid of the story mode in action.

Thanks for the link, looks pretty cool. What I meant by the jobbers thing is that, from what I heard, in the story mode as your CAW you have to fight these no-name jobbers in high school gyms and such before you can even join WWE. Then when you do well enough, and get into WWE, you get to choose between Raw and SD. This site here gives a pretty comprehensive list of everything in the game and explains the story mode, although how accurate it is i don't know.

*bump* this game comes out in a few days, is anyone else looking forward to it?

 

I know it has the weakest roster out of the other systems and their respective games.. which IS a downside, but have you seen some of the videos for it at ign? It's looking REALLY nice, and it looks to play even CLOSER to No Mercy than even WM XIX!

 

I too think its a shame that alot of qrestlers did not make this game.. but some of the glaring omissions were in last years game, so one the one hand I can always play as them there.. and on the other, why take out people period? Such a dumb move.

 

But I'm still gonna buy the game.
