From Dave Meltzer

Brock Lesnar was all over the news again yesterday after a skirmish during a Vikings-Chiefs scrimmage. When Lesnar assisted on a tackle of running back Jonathan Smith, Chiefs player Jonathan Ingram shoved him off Smith. Lesnar shoved him back and a bunch of fights broke out. There were other minor fights in the game as well. Lesnar also got heat with the Chiefs for a sack on QB Damon Huard, which drew a big response from the crowd of 6,000. Huard was knocked silly, and had to go to the sidelines and sit out a few plays. Giving hard hits to QB's in scrimmages violates an unwritten understanding, and the Chiefs were not too happy with him. Lesnar was again featured on Sports Center last night.

One word sums this up: Moron

He'll most likely be on the practice squad since he's got zero clue about professional football it seems from the story and needs more than 3 months to work on his game.

Maybe Damon Huard is gay. Brock said he doesn't like gay people, and even told us to write that down.

Perhaps hitting the QB was going too far, but the fighting is common this time of the year. Besides that qoute says the Chiefs player pushed Brock first.

Brock is hated by regular NFL veterans so fights are going to happen no matter what he does.

He's probably hated by no-name players who bust their asses to just get tryouts too.

I figured this would happen as soon as Lesnar got involved in a normal training camp incident. If the article is accurate, then the Chiefs player started the incident.

And I would like to see the hit on Huard. Having to sit out a few plays does not exactly seem to be the effects of a huge hit by a 290 pound man. If he was out the rest of the day or was going to be out an extended period of time, then maybe get on Brock for hitting to hard. But come on, sitting out a few plays? Cry me a river.

I was about to post that he just had the wind knocked out of him. Boohoo

Oh, I missed that. OK, the reports shouldn't have made it sound like Brock killed him if they didn't really know.

<--feels sheepish

Well I'm sure everyone reading this thread thought Brock killed him based on original article.

I'll clarify that...the REAL tackle was just him knocking the wind out of him momentarily. The report made it sound like Brock tried giving the QB the hardest tackle possible.

Do the Raven's play Minnesota this year? It would be fun to try and watch Ray Lewis and Brock try and out do the other's INTENSITY~! by spinebustering people on the field.

I'd jump on a plane in half a second to see that. Brock = comedy of the NFL.

Brock and Ray could even cut promos at midfield before the coin toss.

Maybe he can actually bring some energy and heart to the Vikings. Lord knows they constantly roll over and die whenever they come across a challenge.
