Guest Markingout Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 "The AAA/TNA deal has fallen through for all the reasons written about for weeks in the Observer. Short version is that nobody can do business with AAA for any length of time. They are going to book independent Mexican talent, starting on Wednesday with L.A. Park and the original Psicosis appearing in the gauntlet X division title match on PPV." Credit to: Da Meltz. Nice, real La Parka, and Psicosis on PPV. Hopefully, TNA will get more CMLL talent in TNA soon.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 YAY! No more Abismo Negro! And is this Psicosis the Original one? Ithought he went by th ename Nicho.... Or something...
{''({o..o})''} Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 El Nicho Millionare (or something close) in Mexico, he's ok to be Psicosis in US. Think it's a trademark issue or something.
Guest DonWestMark03 Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 I hope Hector Garza will still be on the shows though - I dug him.
razazteca Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Looks like a slap in the face to Antonio Pena.....bringing in luchadores whose trademarks are owned by him in Mexico! The good thing is that the orginal luchadores are more talented and over in USA.
Guest bort Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Hectors no longer with AAA so i think this will help get him back in the company
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Simply put.....GOOD. AAA brought absolutly nothing to the table here after they decided that Juvi wouldn't be back and they didn't even bring in their most talented workers. CMLL is the way to go for TNA if they MUST get into a working relationship with a Lucha company.
tekcop Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 LA Park, Nicho, Ultimo Guerrero, & Rey Bucanero for the new Team Mexico would be awesome possum.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 LA Park, Nicho, Ultimo Guerrero, & Rey Bucanero for the new Team Mexico would be awesome possum. Now THAT is a Team Mexico.
Placebo Effect Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 La Parka! YES!!!!! As long as the show isn't said to be total shit tonight, I'm now ordering the replay.
razazteca Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 LA Park, Nicho, Ultimo Guerrero, & Rey Bucanero for the new Team Mexico would be awesome possum. Now THAT is a Team Mexico. Why not bring in both a Rudo and Technico team from Mexico? Rudos could be Guerreros de Inferino, Nicho, Zumbido. The Technicos could be Hijo de Santo, Shocker, Mascara Magica, L.A. Park!
Magus Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 so we still get to see Hector Garza, plus the original La Parka and the original Psichosis... that's frickin' SWEET. those three there are worth more than AAA's entire roster. AND... TNA gets to bring in even better talent from CMLL. i still want to see Shocker in action, as i've heard he's great. of course the question always is: "how can TNA find a way to fuck this up?" we'll have to wait and see.
Vyce Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 I don't know if Shocker is "great", but he's pretty good, and I think he would do well in TNA. They have GOT to establish a relationship with CMLL now. I like Shocker, Mascara Magica, and LA Park for tecnicos....I'm not sure about Hijo del Santo though.... For the rudos, of course you want Ultimo Guerrero & Rey Bucanero, and I'd also grab Tarzan Boy as well. And honestly, I'd love for them to bring Vampiro back as well. And frankly, they should be falling all over themselves to grab the Havana Bros.
razazteca Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Havana Bros./Pitbulls should be priority #1.
Guest Markingout Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Havana Pitbulls are so not TNA style. Also, they don't have a deal with CMLL, here's the thing. CMLL dosen't have contracts on their workers. The CMLL guys can work the indies in Mexico, they only place they can't work is AAA. So, it's not like CMLL and TNA have a working relationship. If I were TNA, I wouldn't want a working relationship with CMLL. There is no need for it. I don't know if Shocker is "great", but he's pretty good, and I think he would do well in TNA. Also, where ever Santo wrestles, he is a draw of some sort. Not to mention, he is probably in the top 3 of Luchadores in Mexico, right now.
Vyce Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 No Santo, but Vampiro? Santo in TNA would bring alot of buyrates from the areas where they're lots of latinos. Also, where ever Santo wrestles, he is a draw of some sort. Not to mention, he is probably in the top 3 of Luchadores in Mexico, right now. I haven't seen any of Santo's matches, so I can't say whether they should hire him or not. So my answer is "I don't know about Santo." I am a bit of a Vampiro mark, guilty as charged. If they were too book him right, they.......wait, what am I saying? This is TNA. Best that could happen would be that he would be brought in, get over with the crowd, and subsequently be buried in a feud with Jarrett. If what you say is true about the contract situation (or lack thereof) in CMLL, TNA should start headhunting immediately. If they want to branch out to the latin demographic, they literally have at least a dozen good CMLL workers to choose from.
Guest Donners Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 Vampiro looked awful when he was in TNA last time. Booking was not the problem.
Guest Staravenger Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 Vampiro looked awful when he was in TNA last time. Booking was not the problem. Vampiro beat the hell out of Raven for weeks. How is that bad booking? We can't help Vampiro can't have a good match to save his life anymore.

Replace Magica with Blue Panther and I may have to worry about the cleanliness of my pants... yeah. and then hate TNA for leaving Nashville.
TheBigSwigg Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 ::Dances around his room:: I MIGHT BE ABLE TO SEE SHOCKER!!!! 1000% GUAPO!!!! ::Realizes you're all watching, and quickly logs off::
razazteca Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 If Blue Panther works for TNA then Dr Wagner has to be there also......they have to wear their blue & white matching half mask! Might as well make Rudo Team Mexico: Blue Panther, Dr. Wagner, Black Tiger 3 (Silver King), Ultimate Guerrero, Rey Bucannero. Now if they were to be on the show I might have to pay for the PPV.

Replace, Silver King with Sangre Azteca, and you have on hell of a rudo team. I am chosing him to be in there because he is very young, and uh... Silver King is old.
razazteca Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 If Silver King can't make it then just have Nicho replace him.
LatinAssasin Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 I think a great Team Mexico would be La Familia de Tijuana which is Nicho El Milionario (Psicosis), Damian 666, and Halloween, and then add La Parka, since it's doubtful that many fans from Mexico are ordering the TNA PPV's. No one would mind that it's three heels and a face teaming.

Highspots I saw one at MLW for 40 bucks~! I wanted it badly.
starvenger Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 I don't get PPVs, so hopefully I can get my LA Park fix on Impact (I always forget to watch Galavision for CMLL).
tekcop Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Those Guapo shirts from highspots are ugly and only come in one size. If your not afraid of the outrageous shipping from Mexico, cmllshopping.com has much better ones.
