Da Maintenance Man Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: WWE is fuckin' stupid for nixing the Mordecai character. With a little more seasoning in OVW & the right hype, Mordecai could've become the next Undertaker.
Spaceman Spiff Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Rebuttal: Mordecai doesn't have the skills, nor the charisma, to become "the next Undertaker". Reportedly, he was always "nervous" when on camera. Good riddance, says I.
CanadianChick Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: WWE is fuckin' stupid for nixing the Mordecai character. With a little more seasoning in OVW & the right hype, Mordecai could've become the next Undertaker. Rebuttal: They haven't ruined him yet. He'll be fine once he comes back.
Guest Anglesault Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: When the UnAmericans split up, if they had saddled Christian with Test like they hinted at in the very beginning, Christian would probably be out of the company by now.
Guest Staravenger Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Counter: Brock will never return to WWE or any other professional wrestling organisation. He hates it and he feels its lack of legitmacy undermines his desire to be viewed as a real athlete. Re-Rebuttal: If his NFL career fails, he will have to return because thats the only way he could make money. Alot of NFL and NBA wrestlers actually enjoy wrestling. Even teammates of Lesnar like Hovan have told Lesnar they were fans of his in the ring. The true problem is how will his fellow athletes and fans react to him returning? If the MSG crowd from WM XX is any indication, he should just try and play for any team in the NFL. He would help the Smackdown brand by being another top heel, but if he gets nothing but X-Pac heat, he shouldn't bother coming back.
Lord of The Curry Posted August 24, 2004 Author Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: The FU is, beyond doubt, the worst finisher in the company. Rebuttal: the Spear Nah. I can but the concept of a spear knocking the wind out of somebody enough to keep them down for a three count. Not nescessarily Edge's spear mind you, but a spear it is regardless. The FU, no matter who did it, would look like shit because it's a bodyslam.
Guest Anglesault Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 I think the FU looks more painful than Edge's spear. Granted, both look awful, but If I had a choice, I'd take the running hug over being flipped to the ground from someone's shoulders.
Guest GreatOne Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 And then afterwards, this generous locker room leader who does the right thing for the business Who's currently on Smackdown, Undertaker or Brock? Next, statement: The NFL is much easier workload-wise and travel-wise than WWE, thus it fits Brock's wishes. Rebuttal: 1)Not if you're a third-string hopeful and it's a bit more dedicated a profession than it was even 20 years ago. 2)Not if the Vikings send him to NFL Europe--if he's even there--next year. What's he gonna do, pull an Eric Crouch and expect to keep his spot?
Highland Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: The FU is, beyond doubt, the worst finisher in the company. Rebuttal: the Spear Re-rebuttal: Edge's spear is the worst finisher; Goldberg makes it look effective.
Guest Staravenger Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: Nice to see they bothered "graduating" Rosey to superhero and have him jobbing to everyone on Heat still.
Guest Leon Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 statement: WWE will be out of business by 2010. statment: Kane will forget to shave half of his head one week, breaking kayfabe and seven years of storyline continuity in the process.
Guest GreatOne Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 statement: WWE will be out of business by 2010. Rebuttal: They aren't relying on Ted Turner's corporate stroke, so nope.
Blade2kxx Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: A Wargames or Elimination Chamber will main event Taboo Tuesday.
CanadianChick Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Rebuttal: Elimination Chamber has always happened at a big PPV, so I don't think so.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 statment: Kane will forget to shave half of his head one week, breaking kayfabe and seven years of storyline continuity in the process. Rebuttal: What storyline continuity?!!!? And aren't you banned yet?
Guest Big Daddy V1 Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: What six people go into the elimination chamber
Blade2kxx Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: What six people go into the elimination chamber Rebuttal: I could see Orton vs. HHH vs. Micheals vs. Kane vs. Benoit vs. Regal work nicely for an Elimination Chamber.
King Cucaracha Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: The FU is, beyond doubt, the worst finisher in the company. Rebuttal: the Spear Re-rebuttal: Edge's spear is the worst finisher; Goldberg makes it look effective. Re-Re-rebuttal: The. Worm.
Re-Re-rebuttal: The. Worm. Ok, I haven't watched Smackdown in a while, but is the worm now a finisher instead of a filler spot?
Guest Dazed Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: People stay down for the Rock's spinebuster longer than any other move.
UZI Suicide Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Rebuttal: People say down longer for Shawn Michaels' flying forearm thingy. He hits that, lays on the ground for about 7 seconds, then does the kip-up, all while the opponent is still on the ground. After about 15 seconds of "tuning up the band" the opponent finally starts making it to his feet.
clean rob Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: What six people go into the elimination chamber Rebuttal: That isn't a statement, now is it? Statement: While we're on the subject - The FU would look ten times better if Cena 'sat out' while executing it. Another statement: Benoit's title reign was done really well. And another statement: Vince will have employed Abyss and/or Burchill by this time next year.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: There will NEVER be a WarGames match in the WWE.
Blade2kxx Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 And another statement: Vince will have employed Abyss and/or Burchill by this time next year. Rebuttal: TNA has Abyss under contract for quite some time...
Guest PlatinumBoy Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement 1: Val Venis will never hold another singles title in the WWE Statement 2: Within six months to a year, Spike will get the crap beat out of him by his brothers, hit with the 3-D through a table or something, and return to Spike + Random Partner vs the Dudleys.
UZI Suicide Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: There will NEVER be a WarGames match in the WWE. Rebuttal: With Ric Flair in the company, and Triple H's love for old NWA wrestling, and also the opportunity for an Evolution vs. Randy Orton led-group in the match at Survivor Series, I think there's a very good possibility of the WWE using Wargames.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: In it's entire history, TNA has never been as good as the WWE.
The Niggardly King Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Rebuttal: Well, that one is just too obvious... Smackdown's worst night>anything in TNA Statement: If the Randy Orton Heavyweight Title reign is a failure, who ends up saving it?
Brett Favre Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: If the Randy Orton Heavyweight Title reign is a failure, who ends up saving it? Triple H. Can't go wrong with The Game.
UZI Suicide Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Statement: Bret Hart and Sting will both be at Wrestlemania 21
