Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 'Squash That Fly' Fu Manchu. you listen to a lot of stoner rock from what I've seen on here. What do you think of Clutch, and Fudge Tunnel?
Guest BAR Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 Eh, my friends love it so it's kinda passed on to me. The only stuff I can really dig from the genre is Kyuss. Although I do dabble in the rest. I've never heard any Fudge Tunnel, although I'll be sure to check them out. As far as Clutch go, I was very impressed with the self-titled and 'Jam Room'. Like I said, the only ones I can give a real insight about is Kyuss, sorry.
Cuban Linx Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 Raekwon The Chef, Nas and Ghostface Killah - Verbal Intercourse To be followed by Slayer's Angel of Death
Guest BAR Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 ^^^Wow, that's quite a transition. 'Trampled Under Foot' Led Zep.
Henry Spencer Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 Tom Waits - Hang Down Your Head
Guest BAR Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 Maiden's 'Live After Death' album.
PLAGIARISM! Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 The Residents - 'Duck Stab'. Ahhh.
caboose Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 Tool & Creed - Alone (Potentially Fake)
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 Det Som Engang Var - Burzum (a true crowning achievement for the genre)
Cuban Linx Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle
Steviekick Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 Det Som Engang Var - Burzum (a true crowning achievement for the genre) That is a great song. "49:19" - Public Enemy
Steviekick Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 "cocaine and toupees" - mindless self indulgence
PLAGIARISM! Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 Frank Black and the Catholics - 'Show me your tears' It's not particularly good, but his live show still owns (OCT 5th~!) and I'm still pissed at the critics for not giving 'Dog in the Sand' and 'Black Letter Days' half the credit they deserve. Grrr.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 Nile-"Barra Edinazzu" That chugging breakdown at about one minute in is the heaviest fucking thing in the universe.
Guest JebusNassedar Posted September 10, 2003 Report Posted September 10, 2003 Dog Fashion Disco "Siddhis". This band is REALLY cool, and I'm shocked that they've floated my radar for so long. It's like...psycho metal ska. Or shitlike that. But it sounds cool no matter how it's classified.
