spiny norman Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 I know everyone says it, but I really don't like Nickelback. The singer's voice really grates me. Eric Carmen - Make Me Lose Control. EDIT: The last song mentioned was Nickelback, btw, on the previous page. Just so it doesn't seem as if I am randomly speaking about Nickelback for no reason.
PLAGIARISM! Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - straight to you
Red Baron Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 The Tragically Hip: Highway Girl (Live)
Guest BAR Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 Dogs - Roger Waters version. Doyle Bramhall definitely does the solos justice.
Henry Spencer Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Bob Dylan - One More Cup Of Coffee
Guest JebusNassedar Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Liam Lynch - "United States of Whatever" Cant...stop....listening to it...
Henry Spencer Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Bonnie "Prince" Billy - I See A Darkness

El Gigante Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Scorpions - Rock You Like a Hurricane
godthedog Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 john coltrane - 'ascension', which i just picked up an hour ago. this is like aural heroin. it's doing strange things to my focus & my ability to string sentences together, and i think i like it.
Henry Spencer Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Silver Jew - Ballad Of Reverand War Charactor
godthedog Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 miles - 'bitches brew' in comparison, this seems so...serene.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 The Shins, "One By One All Day." Need a change after overloading on the new album. Oh, Inverted World still holds up pretty well, thankfully.
snuffbox Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 Jeff Buckley - Everybody Here Wants You
SamoaRowe Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 "Telephone Line" by Electric Light Orchestra.
godthedog Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 Jeff Buckley - Everybody Here Wants You ooh, good choice.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 "Excursions"- A Tribe Called Quest And I have to agree with gtd, snuffbox. Great choice for Buckley. I think "The Sky is a Landfill" is one of his best songs, though "Everybody Here Wants You" also owns.
godthedog Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 i always thought "the sky is a landfill" was a little on the corny side. "everybody here wants you" is much smoother & more subtle. oh, yeah: miles - 'miles ahead' i desperately needed some smoothness to wash down that aural assault from earlier today.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 MC Ren, "You Wanna Fuck Her." Try that for smoothness.
Red Baron Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Steve Vai & Ry Cooder: The Dual from Crossroads
Henry Spencer Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 The Darkness - Christmas Tree (Don't Let The Bells End)
Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Bob Dylan, "Visions of Johanna." Goddamn, I can't stop listening to this remaster. The sound's so good, and I know this is going to end with me going out and buying every damn one of them. Later, checking account.
