Usher and Beyonce do not lip sing, they have talent to sound the same live as they do on the CD. Unlike a Britney

That's a moot point anyway, because all three automatically forgoes singing live to do the dance routines. As a matter of fact, these three artists have the most intricate dance sequences out of all current performers (sans Timberlake), so it's a lot to ask of them to both sing and dance to the equivalency of their music videos.

They sound like 3 samples of that group of around 345 bands that sound exactly the same.

Hey - at least the kids are starting to like Rock music again.

Too bad it's in the form of ska.

I thought Lenny Kravitz was that one guy in P-Funk for a minute.

I think that Lenny Kravitz is one of the biggest sellouts in music history. Gap commercials Lenny? Fuck, at least pretend to have some integrity.

Forgot to mention..

My mom was on her way to a friend's house and was completely clueless to the whole VMAs thing and how big of a deal it is (she's the most oblivious person on the face of the planet I swear), and saw Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton, and Hulk Hogan in a limo all together.

I found that to be amusing for some reason.

I'm thinking all the stars bounced to their respective parties right after it ended.

Loder looked kind of upset during the wrap-up.

I changed the channel after Modest Mouse didn't win the MTV2 award.

This was probably the worst VMA's in a long time. They didn't even broadcast it in the high quality video like they have done with the past few.

You mean with the shaky "film" look?

I never liked that.
