Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2004 So, does Bush have the fuzzy math to show that he'll reduce spending, while proposing all this new stuff?
Guest Brian Report post Posted September 3, 2004 Bah. Stupid speech takes away from all the image posting that was making this thread good.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2004 I actually thought the FLUFF parts of the speech were pretty decent, however whenever he talked about POLICY, it was pretty much crap. Sounds like to me he wants to spend just as much, yet cut taxes again. Seemed like he went out his way to tell corporate america that they won't have to ever pay taxes anymore. And is it me or was he already trying to subtly suggest we will be invading more countries in the near future.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2004 Bad mouthing Kerry for proposing spending, while he himself has been one of the bigger spenders EVER is kind of ironic.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2004 Yeah, that was rather laughable. He lashed out at Kerry for spending, and yet, he proposed BILLIONS of dollars worth of spending IN THIS SPEECH ALONE. What the FUCK?
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2004 well, Kerry will be rebutting in about 30mins
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2004 Let's see, two mentions about how God gives us freedom and it's our job to spread it around (scary), then BALOONS BALOONS GO ALL BALOONS, then Cardinal Eagan givin' shoutouts to the Lord (creepy), then a bunch of children fill the room and we have this singer. She sounds like a young Dolly Parton but I've heard this song so much over the radio that I can't stand it. Oh, and a child stood around next to the President, waving a "Friends don't let friends vote Democrat" shirt at the camera, at the President, at the Vice President, at random people in the crowds. This was an excellent convention. For the Democrats.

Are you prepared to duel, Dean? YOU SAY THAT TO MY FACE PUNK!

NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2004 and one by one, the networks cut off the speech.......damn liberal media
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2004 I wish Kerry would have used these same talking points at the convention. He worked in his time in the military without going over the top. He actually went after the failed Bush policies. I think Kerry was baited into playing "nice" at his convention, and the republicans turned around and went into full-on attack mode. Hopefully that was the only wake-up call Kerry needed.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2004 and one by one, the networks cut off the speech.......damn liberal media I checked around as he was starting up and the only one paying attention was MSNBC and C-SPAN2, which means nobody saw it.
