Wrestlers that need new theme music

1. Kidman and London (Their new music is even worse than the Naaaaaa Heyyyyy

Kidman music)

2. William Regal - awful wussy music. They should promote him as a tough guy and thus give him tougher music.

3. Shelton Benjamin (should go back to the music he came out to before his "Ain't no stopping me now" music, its too generic)

4. Garrison Cade (haven't heard it in awhile because he has been sidelined but

it still sticks in my head in a bad way)

5. Rodney Mack (they need to get rid of him and his new music because they both

suck)

6. Jamie Noble (generic music and it sucks)

I don't mind Regal's music either, but my god Victoria's music sucks... actually all of the women's themes suck, and not in the good way either.

Undertaker's music is getting really annoying considering this is the 50th version of the same song he's had when he wasn't Bikertaker, and Chavo's music seems a bit too generically Mexican as well.

Kidman's rap theme wasn't a bad theme, it just seems bad with him since he's BILLY KIDMAN.

Regal should go back to the evil Bond villain theme.

Benjamin's music is OK.

Mack's music is OK too. I believe his music is actually the WM2000 music redone a bit for him.

Cade's reeks of 80's WWF themes. Noble's isn't bad, but isn't great either.

Edge definitely needs some new music. "You Think You Know Me" was fine when he was the "Enigma" Edge, but I didn't think it fit E&C, and I don't think it fits him now.

The only songs that I can think of that I like off the top of my head are Triple H's, Evolution's & The Big Show's.

Posted

I like Cena's, Rocks, Angles, HHH's, Evolution, Jerichos, Benoits, Eddies, Matt's, Reys, Batista's, Flair's, and Booker's.

Orton needs a new one quick.

HBK, I don't know, he needs a new one, but it would be weird.

RVD needs to back to Pantera.

Haas needs one.

Rene Dupree.

La Resistance.

I don't like Kane's much either, I liked his old one.

Christian - Hopefully, now that Tomko is using his old theme, Christian will go back to his awesomely awesome opera theme.

What's the point of using that now? With an opening of "Christian, you're finally on your own!" doesn't work now. He should go back to Blood Brother, although it was a James Johnson creation, you knew he was coming out.

Why is the Johnston thing a problem? Is he no longer with the company? If not, that speaks volumes on the influx of crap music. Derringer, Jimmy Hart, and Johnston all did fine work.

they could easily have made it into... "CHRISTAAAAAAAIN, CHRISTAAAAAAAAAAIN!" and then BOOM! right into the music. It's not hard to cut out a few sparse words of operatic chant.

Besides the opera opening, it was a generic song afterwards.

Rene Dupree. I mean they split up La Resistance yet Rene still uses the LR theme. How dumb. He should use the Cafe De Rene theme with the accordian, at least it had a French feel to it.

So? I mean, it accomplishes what it's supposed to. Nearly every song has some sort of hook at the beginning that just catches people or at least makes you know exactly who is coming out.

I don't really care that it's generic, at least i know who the hell it is when i hear it

Trish's music rules. Maybe my favourite music in the WWE. It's got that Rocky feel to it; the kind of music that pumps you up to the point where you feel that you can do anything.

People who need new music are:

Victoria

Edge

Orton

Mysterio

I forgot about Rob Van Dam. If was allowed to use "Walk" in WWE, eventually you would have thousands of people chanting along but nooooo. Instead the WWE chooses Puddle of Mud and Saliva songs that sound like crap.

It was just a generic boring song. It made me want to fall asleep when he came to the ring. The other one sounded very heelish and it worked for him.

As for Bischoff changing his music, that's like telling Vince to change his, it won't happen, besides, you know he's coming out then.

Why is it whenever someone asks a "Which wrestler needs a new ::insert change here::" question, I automatically think of Garrison Cade?

So to answer the question, Garrison Cade is in most need of some new tunes.

Kidman and London should use Kidman's orignal WCW music.

Damn straight. I miss that theme. Even if I used to always confuse it with Benoit's WCW theme, it had a big time hard rock feel to it, sorta like it's a Sevendust song.

Hey, WWE! Have Sevendust do Kidman and London's theme, and give them a name! Even if I hate Sevendust (which I have since their second album), it'd still make them seem somewhat different.

Shit maybe it's just me, but I actually like Christian's/Tomko's theme

Also, Rodney Mack's theme is indeed the WM2000 theme with new lyrics. I like that one also, but is he still using it, because Teddy Long is using the same one on Smackdown now.

I also like Chavo's as well.

I think Big Show is the biggest candidate for new theme music.

I have to be honest, when I think of RVD nowadays, I hear "One of a Kind" more often than "Walk"

Why would Christian need new theme music?

--He's still attached to Trish and Tomko.

--The theme song is instantly recognizable, with that heavy riff at the beginning.

--The titantron is PERFECTLY synched with the theme itself.

Out of the wrestlers that I think need a new theme, I'd go with:

  • Rey Mysterio.
  • Victoria.
  • La Resistance OR Dupree (one needs to differentiate itself from the other).
  • Edge.
  • Undertaker (how about the remix he used in late 1998?)

Was that the one from July of 99 that was Goldust's theme sped up with sound effects?
