MikeSC's reactions are hilarious. Edwards would destroy Bush with his performance tonight.

Nah. You just get a hard-on for talking points with no substance.

In my opinion, the more the public hears about Haliburton (whether from Cheney's explanations or Edwards' accusations) will not be good for the Bush/Cheney ticket...

Hey all Cheney's gotta do is mention malpractice suits when they get to domestics and that'll be that.

I don't think the American public will be as approving of allowing doctors free reign of dangerous mistake as the Republicans might hope...

IMO, people want to be compensated if a person is harmed by malpractice.

Shockingly enough, Edwards cannot respond to the charges.

OMG!!

INSTEAD OF TRYING TO COMBAT THE CLAIMS ON HALLIBURTON, CHENEY IS GOING COMPLETELY OFF TOPIC AND TRYING TO ATTACK EDWARDS' RECORDS!!

I THINK HE JUST RIPPED OUT EDWARDS' SOUL!!

Where is Cheney's supposed strong, earth-shattering defense of his scandals with Halliburton?

He said he was going to comment on that and then went completely off-topic with low blows.

Low blows are starting to look like the only things that are helping Cheney look so good at this point.

Damn answering the question. Attack Edwards' record instead. That's the way to win.

They won't be allowing free reign of runaway suits either...........

He simply told you where to go for a lengthy discussion of all of the problems.

You know --- that factcheck.org site.

If given a question about Halliburton, he'd be able to respond.

Cheney didn't really tackle the Haliburton issue...I feel that a good chuck of America is suspicious of that, and the VP would have been better served to stay on topic and attempt an explanation of that situation...

He had 30 seconds to tell me his claims about Halliburton.

Instead of using that 30 seconds the best way he could, he chose to harp on the fact that this was a damned Democratic smokescreen - then directed me to go to factcheck.com, which is a false address anyway.

Not exactly too strong there.

Blame the economy on 9/11 - damn he' smart.

The economy was hurting before but 9/11 made it much worse. That happens when you lose 1/3 of the office space in your biggest metropolis in one day, along with thousands of the best and brightest.

Headstart and MLK? :P

Thus far, line of the night:

Cheney: "First time I ever met you was when I walked on the stage tonight"
