AndrewTS Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 ...okay, now tell me Lil' John--Kerry wants to WORK WITH THE UN, right?
Guest MikeSC Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 MikeSC's reactions are hilarious. Edwards would destroy Bush with his performance tonight. Nah. You just get a hard-on for talking points with no substance. -=Mike
Guest GreatOne Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 In my opinion, the more the public hears about Haliburton (whether from Cheney's explanations or Edwards' accusations) will not be good for the Bush/Cheney ticket... Hey all Cheney's gotta do is mention malpractice suits when they get to domestics and that'll be that.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Cheney is raping him right now.
Guest MikeSC Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Cheney just UNLOADING on Edwards now. -=Mike
teke184 Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Cheney going to town on Edwards' record...
The Czech Republic Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Senator Gone. The Democrats as "the leaders with credibility" is goin' buh-bye....
JoeDirt Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 I think it's safe to say Cheney is at his best when he's on the offensive... Wow.
Downhome Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 I'm loving this, and I actually LIKE Edwards (he's from where I live).
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Nah. You just get a hard-on for talking points with no substance. -=Mike And Bush was doing... what? The difference here is that Edwards isn't completely fucking it up.
Ted the Poster Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 ...okay, now tell me Lil' John--Kerry wants to WORK WITH THE UN, right? YYYEAH!!!
snuffbox Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 In my opinion, the more the public hears about Haliburton (whether from Cheney's explanations or Edwards' accusations) will not be good for the Bush/Cheney ticket... Hey all Cheney's gotta do is mention malpractice suits when they get to domestics and that'll be that. I don't think the American public will be as approving of allowing doctors free reign of dangerous mistake as the Republicans might hope... IMO, people want to be compensated if a person is harmed by malpractice.
Guest INXS Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Saddam didn't CREATE the suicide bombers cheney, damn. Distortion!
Guest MikeSC Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Shockingly enough, Edwards cannot respond to the charges. -=Mike
NYU Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 OMG!! INSTEAD OF TRYING TO COMBAT THE CLAIMS ON HALLIBURTON, CHENEY IS GOING COMPLETELY OFF TOPIC AND TRYING TO ATTACK EDWARDS' RECORDS!! I THINK HE JUST RIPPED OUT EDWARDS' SOUL!! Where is Cheney's supposed strong, earth-shattering defense of his scandals with Halliburton? He said he was going to comment on that and then went completely off-topic with low blows. Low blows are starting to look like the only things that are helping Cheney look so good at this point. Damn answering the question. Attack Edwards' record instead. That's the way to win.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Edwards with a Republican Tactic~! The claws are COMING OUT!!

UZI Suicide Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 John Edwards' teeth are extremely white.
snuffbox Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 This is a very back-and-forth debate...highly entertaining...
Guest MikeSC Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 He simply told you where to go for a lengthy discussion of all of the problems. You know --- that factcheck.org site. If given a question about Halliburton, he'd be able to respond. -=Mike
Guest INXS Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Blame the economy on 9/11 - damn he' smart.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 +4 for both guys' record bashing, btw.
teke184 Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 "Litigation costs" is going to get Edwards' attention. The question is what he does with it.
snuffbox Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Cheney didn't really tackle the Haliburton issue...I feel that a good chuck of America is suspicious of that, and the VP would have been better served to stay on topic and attempt an explanation of that situation...
NYU Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 He simply told you where to go for a lengthy discussion of all of the problems. You know --- that factcheck.org site. If given a question about Halliburton, he'd be able to respond. -=Mike He had 30 seconds to tell me his claims about Halliburton. Instead of using that 30 seconds the best way he could, he chose to harp on the fact that this was a damned Democratic smokescreen - then directed me to go to factcheck.com, which is a false address anyway. Not exactly too strong there.
teke184 Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Blame the economy on 9/11 - damn he' smart. The economy was hurting before but 9/11 made it much worse. That happens when you lose 1/3 of the office space in your biggest metropolis in one day, along with thousands of the best and brightest.
Guest MikeSC Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Headstart and MLK? Thus far, line of the night: Cheney: "First time I ever met you was when I walked on the stage tonight" -=Mike
