mike546 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2004 I can't take any delight in watching a game like this. Maybe if a Yankee pitcher could get through ONE inning without looking horrible, then I'd be able to like this game. And Brown should NEVER start a game in Fenway again. And Vazquez isn't allowed to pitch ANYWHERE ever again. And Loiaza's up? Dear god help us now.

Cartman 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2004 This series could have been fun to watch for SOMEONE at least if the Sox decided to show up this week. All I asked for was a good matchup and some exciting games. this is BRUTAL.

KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2004 The Higher Power angle? The Yankees offense has just been hitting EVERYTHING in this series (Matsui especially, who is now my pick for MVP of the series). And he's playing the Wall pretty well, something he's had trouble with. Just end it tomorrow, guys. Drag em' behind the shed and pull the trigger. Go Pats! KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2004 A Pats loss won't affect me much since, you know, they have to lose sometime. And Seattle's a good team, anyway. Yes, I'm bringing NFL talk in here. Something to take my mind off things while the Jack Daniels takes effect.
