mike546 Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I can't take any delight in watching a game like this. Maybe if a Yankee pitcher could get through ONE inning without looking horrible, then I'd be able to like this game. And Brown should NEVER start a game in Fenway again. And Vazquez isn't allowed to pitch ANYWHERE ever again. And Loiaza's up? Dear god help us now.
bob_barron Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Why couldn't Sheffield do this, oh I don't know, ONCE for us

Guest GreatOne Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Fuck does anybody, you know PITCH?
Cartman Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 This series could have been fun to watch for SOMEONE at least if the Sox decided to show up this week. All I asked for was a good matchup and some exciting games. this is BRUTAL.
the max Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I think I'm officially done with baseball this season.
mike546 Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Good job Vazquez. You've done a pretty darn good job. And your in the process of making me forget the horrible season you had.
mike546 Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I've never seen this team hit like this, EVER. woah.
The Dames Posted October 17, 2004 Author Report Posted October 17, 2004 Did anyone honestly believe that the Yankees would be in a position to likely sweep the Sox? Honestly. Dames
Guest Brian Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 If it's St. Louis-NY, there will be no reason for me to watch the world series.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I feel like killing myself...
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 This series is the biggest letdown since...well I'm sure it was something involving the WWE.
KingPK Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 The Higher Power angle? The Yankees offense has just been hitting EVERYTHING in this series (Matsui especially, who is now my pick for MVP of the series). And he's playing the Wall pretty well, something he's had trouble with. Just end it tomorrow, guys. Drag em' behind the shed and pull the trigger. Go Pats!
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Bleh, this is what you call too little too late.
KingPK Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Oh God......it just hit me that the Red Sox season relies on Derek Lowe performing well under pressure. I need a hug, hard liquor, and another hug.

KingPK Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 A Pats loss won't affect me much since, you know, they have to lose sometime. And Seattle's a good team, anyway. Yes, I'm bringing NFL talk in here. Something to take my mind off things while the Jack Daniels takes effect.
mike546 Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Honestly, did anyone imagine the Yankees would hit like this?
KingPK Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 GOD-DAMN, Matusi hits another one! Murderers' Row 2K4 is clicking at the right time. A Cardinals/Yankees WS would be veddy interesting.
