CBright7831 Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Vince supprised making a big deal out of Erics grey hair. He never watched wcw then Who the hell would? Especially in the 99-2000 period.
SamoaRowe Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Anybody NOT thinking Edge turns on Benoit and HBK tonight? Well, technically didn't Edge already turn on them a couple of times already?
slimm44 Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Maybe it was HBK or Benoit that attacked Edge at No Way Out last year and they are going to swerve us with a different turn...Just thinking outside the box, but I doubt I'm right
Guest GreatOne Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 btw the new trend seems to be inbetween every match you get a backstage Edge skit You know if Vince ever DOES find a new Steve Austin, well he's got his Bret Hart to go with him. With a few exceptions of course....................... QUOTE (slimm44 @ Oct 19 2004, 09:36 PM) Maybe it was HBK or Benoit that attacked Edge at No Way Out last year and they are going to swerve us with a different turn...Just thinking outside the box, but I doubt I'm right Honestly, I doubt anyone on the creative team even remembers or acknowledges that at this point. EDIT: Vince already ruled it out by correctly stating that no one'd give a fuck.

Guest Jim Ross Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 so these fans boo the canadian anthem... yet cheer for the Canadian Chris Benoit?

I remember hearing something about how either Vince or Stephanie told the writers to forget about resolving that storyline.
Guest Evolution Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 so these fans boo the canadian anthem... yet cheer for the Canadian Chris Benoit? He's from Atlanta, Georgia, remember?
SamoaRowe Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 so these fans boo the canadian anthem... yet cheer for the Canadian Chris Benoit? It's because La Resistance are bad and Chris Benoit is good. And Benoit doesn't bash America. And Benoit isn't annoying. Blast it, it's true, the La Rez gimmick is no longer that useful.
Guest Jim Ross Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Atlanta? Only at certain times!
JoeDirt Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 1-0 Red Sox. Sounds like a lot of 'sports entertainment" tonight.
LooseCannon25 Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I must say...Edge looks like he'd make a great dickhead, envious heel

I spent some time wondering over who it would be. Personally, I would have had it be Rhyno.
BorneAgain Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 If there's any justice in the world, we'll the see the E and C reunion tonight, hopefully during or after this match.
Guest 11and0baby Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Sting trusts Edge..... Opps Wrong Show
Guest Jim Ross Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 lol at the USA Chant. Kind of reminds me of that Ridiculous 6 man tag match at SummerSlam 92. One of the Bushwackers was the face in Peril.. so to help him out, Hacksaw starts a USA Chant going. Now im still baffled how a crowd of British people chanting USA is going to help a guy from New Zealand
Guest GreatOne Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I can just see Edge now cutting the Russo promo, 'I'm sick and tired of the bullshit of the politics.....................' Of course never mind that after Orton and Lesnar, WWE made you their #3 in cramming down everyone's throat.................
LooseCannon25 Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 You know, not for nothing, but I think they did a pretty good job with La Rez as credible tag champs and a formidable tag team
BorneAgain Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 You know, not for nothing, but I think they did a pretty good job with La Rez as credible tag champs and a formidable tag team Indeed, but it would have helped if they had, you know, more than two tag teams to go against.

slimm44 Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 What if the whole Shawn Michaels injury was a fake and he won the title 'injury and all' I'm just playing all kinds of theories in my head
Repo Man jr Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Edge is getting into it with the fans at ring side
SamoaRowe Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 You know, not for nothing, but I think they did a pretty good job with La Rez as credible tag champs and a formidable tag team They've been reigning for a long time now too. I have to admit, I find that admirable.

What with all the voting, the Edge skits and the Injury.. it does tend to break it away from the normal predictability

If Orton and Cena walk out of Wrestlemania as champs and the Yanks start 0-6, THEN..............you bet

I have to admit, I find that admirable. Especially with that STACKED tag division on RAW... 4-0 Red Sox. Hehe, true, but a long reign is still a long reign. They've faced off against Benoit/Edge, Eugene/Flair, and Rhyno/Tajiri on PPV. That is not a shabby resume, even if the Bad Blood match was a DQ (and the Vengeance one might have been too... I don't remember), and at least they had a feud with Tajiri and Rhyno. But the tag division does suck, La Res hasn't done a horrible job of keeping it floating, at least at an outside view.
