Next Monday's RAW

Guest Loss

Regal and Flair are truly two wrestlers capable of making HHH the type of heel he strives to be, yet he keeps both of them right under his thumb.

Although the WWE doesn't always acknowledge what happens at the UK events, you can't hide the fact that you can go out and buy Edge getting a title shot on DVD.

Edge's promos and going on and on about how much of a travesty it is for him to not have been getting title shots makes little sense when you look at how long he has been on RAW and also been there without injury. His promos reach far back and he protests about his entire career. He should have had more than 2 or so, but he has had them.

I thought it was Edge against Big Show SD after Survivor Series that ended w Lesnar run-in or so...............

That may be what I'm thinking of. I'm pretty sure I remember him getting at least one title shot.

BATISTA- Dave is still pimp tight and silky smooth as the Metrosexual Monster (credit: Malibu) of Evolution. I don't expect to see him leave anytime soon. Dave rules.

Haha, nice to see that comment sticking. It's so true, too.

Here's what I think would be good for RAW.

La Resistance complains to Bischoff about Benoit winning, and want a rematch. Edge wants no part of Benoit, as he has his own things to take care of. Bischoff states that if Benoit and Edge don't issue the rematch, they're stripped of the belts. Edge says he could care less, Benoit agrees to work the match, but it's Jericho who comes out to aid him (and that stirs up continuity from the Edge/Jericho tension this summer) and the Canadian Violence Connection is reborn as the babyface RAW Tag Champs.

Shelton/Batista feud over the IC belt.

Triple H chastises Flair for "going soft". Says he isn't the Flair he always looked up to. Flair said he's not worried about meeting Triple H's ideal thought of him, he's worried about being the Ric Flair HE wants to be. Sets up the possible (and hopeful) Flair face turn.

The Hurricane heel turn slowly starts building again, because Helms needs to hit the refresh button ASAP.

Snitsky kills Eugene off, allowing WWE to repackage Mr. Dinsmore, now that he finally got his revenge on Uncle Eric.

I'd also mark out if they went the extra step with Batista's Metrosexual Monster bit, having him tell Coach that the dress he's in is all wrong for him...then saying that "red is more your color" or something equally feminine. Big Dave=Fashion Critic.

It's so simple just have Gene hit Eugene with the pipe to put him in the medical facility for 2 weeks.......Mr. Dinsmore comes back as "The Genius". Mr. Dinsmore will not come back to Raw alone, oh no, he will have Simon Dean as his tag team partner. Both of which know the 1002 Moves of Armbar and will go into filiabusters about how the psychology of working the arm should be the basis of pro wrestling.

Actually, it's not a bad thing. Because if a face points out he actually has had a title shot, he looks like a whiney bitch who's complaining about nothing. Which gives him more heat.

I doubt they'll do the whole "Tag partners who hate each other" angle with Edge/Benoit. I could see the whole Canadian Chris' vs. E&C feud. Benoit is feuding with Edge, Edge and Jericho had an unfinished feud recently. Christian and Jericho have had the never-ending feud since the beginning of the year. Benoit and Jericho obviously have history, as do Edge and Christian. E&C will be the whiney heels who constantly complain about not getting their due. Benoit and Jericho shut them up. Pretty easy feud to come up with actually. Also ensure that Jericho and Christian get to do something.

I'm guessing Shelton will feud with Batista, and Batista will 'take care' on Benji for Triple H while also getting the title for Evolution.

I'm just wondering how they'll keep Triple H and Orton away from each other, logically.

HHH can feud with Flair until Royal Rumble and Orton will probably have Batista to go through since Orton hasn't beaten him yet.

Edit: Not sure how they stop the two from fighting in tags/Having brawls from Rumble to Wrestlemania but Bischoff can always do the "no physical contact until Wrestlemania" thing after Rumble.

I always thought that if the Flair turn comes, this should be how they book HHH/Orton til Mania:

Survivor Series: Multi-man title match (EC or Six-way HIAC)

Jan PPV: Flair/Orton vs HHH/Batista (If Orton and Flair wins, Orton gets the title shot at Rumble, if HHH and Batista wins, Orton can never have a title shot) Flair turns on Orton here, to deny Orton the title shot.

Royal Rumble: Orton takes out some jobber and takes his place in the Royal Rumble. He wins it. HHH faces Benoit or Jericho for the title. Retains.

Voila, HHH/Orton is booked for Mania.

Even though it would be counter-productive to HHH's attempt to match Flair's record, I'd like to see Flair win the World Title at Survivor Series...

And then retire the next night. For Good. I mean it this time. Done. Finished like the Yanks.

I think a good idea would be to continue what happened between Benjamin and McMahon. Have Vince keep showing up, and Shelton can just keep winning CLEAN and "disrespecting" Vince aka "not kiss Vince's ass". Sort of a smooth, new jack version of Stone Cold. Because, if held off properly, a LONGGGGG IC title reign by Shelton, maybe a feud with Vince "ass kisser" Christian(new and fresh), leading into WMXXII with Shelton vs. Orton(your new Austin and Rock!).

Start developing Shelton, Randy, Snitsky, and (by moving him into a non gimmick role SLOWLY) Eugene/Dinsmore, and you've got a nice core that can carry things into the future.;

Of course, in reality, at WMXXII it'll be HBK vs. HHH in the match to settle the feud that has been boiling since they split up DX and HHH joined the Redcoats during the American Revolutionary War.

Now I'm wondering what HHH does now? Does he feud back with Orton again, like a title feud or does Orton and Batista go at it, since Orton beat Flair. That or I'm guessing Batista and Shelton are now going to have a feud for the IC title. And the y2J and Christian feud will contine and eventually drag the IC title into that. So where does HHH really go since just about all the faces are tied up? Maybe another Eugene vs HHH feud?
