Fav episode of the simpsons

Recommended Posts

From the same episode mentioned above.

"You know me Marge. I like my beer cold, my TV loud, and my homosexuals FLAMMMMMINNGGG!!"

Homer's enemy is also a classic.

Grimes: "Look at Simpson. The man literally eats like a pig!"

Carl: "I'd say he eats more a duck. Pigs tend to chew."

*Camera cuts to an eclair literally sailing down Homer's throat.*

And from the Monorail episode:

Marge: "Homer, there is a family of possums living in here!"

Homer: "I call the big one bitey."

And probably the most rendundant, yet funniest joke they ever ran:

"Lisa needs braces. DENTAL PLAN! Lisa needs braces. DENTAL PLAN!"

Stark Raving Dad is brilliant and has a wonderful message. Oh, how I miss the glory years.

Last Exit to Springfield.

I love it in the Itchy And Scratchy Movie eps. where Lisa goes "And the celebrity voices! Michael Jackson, Dustin Hoffman... they changed their names on the credits, but you knew it was them", that's the simpsons that I miss. The ones that didn't go "HEY!!!!! There's a CELEBRITY on here and he's doing something with HOMER!!!!!"

I've always had a fond liking for the episode where Homer becomes a professional boxer. Everything else mentioned is probably on my list too.

"I call the big one bitey" has to be the funniest Simpsons line ever.

I call the big one Bitey.

I call the big one Bitey.

I call the big one Bitey.

The line was good enough, but the thoughts that Marge had just made it so awesome.

I thouight it went like this:

"I've sold monorails to Brockway, Ogdenville, and East Haverbrook!"

"Is there a chance the track could bend?"

"I call the big one Bitey."

I thought it was North Haverbrooke, but either way, yes, that's how the scene went (Mr. Lanley, Apu, and Homer respectively)

the boxing one was great

Moe: Youre fighting boxcar Fred

Homer: oh is that a tough guy name (im sorry I dont remember what homer said so i made it up)

Moe: No he really is homeless , in fact hes fighting for a sandwhich

Dr hibbert: why I could wallop you all day with this surgical 2x4 and not knock you down

(the fact that he had a surgical 2X4 and took it out of a medical sterilyzed wrap made me rotfl)

Buffer: He's known as the Brick Hithouse, while others call him the Southern Dandy, Homer Simpson"

I really don't watch on a regular basis anymore but it seems everytime that I do they have some pointless celebrity guest.

How many episodes a season is a celebrity guest now?

Anything from seasons 4-9 does it for me. Those episodes were just joke after joke, and the social and pop culture satire was top notch. Granted, there were some classic episodes before then (Homer at the Bat comes to mind), but the show hit its stride in those years. Season by season, some of my favs:

Season 4: Mr. Plow, Marge vs. the Monorail, The Front, Krusty Gets Kancelled

Season 5: Too many to name, but Homer Goes to College, The Boy Who Knew Too Much (MacArnagle!!!) and $pringfield are classics.

Season 6: Itchy & Scratchyland, Homer the Great, A Star is Burns (perhaps my favorite episode), Lisa's Wedding.

Season 7: Who Shot Mr Burns?(part 2), The Simpson's 138th Show Spectacular, Team Homer, Scenes From a Class Struggle in Springfield, 22 Short Films About Springfield, Homerpalooza

Season 8: The Homer They Fall, The Springfield Files, Homer's Enemy, Simpsons Spin-off Showcase

Season 9: The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson, The Last Temptation of Krust, The Trouble With Trillions

I dig the one with Millhouse's first girlfriend...in the treehouse...and the school video about the bunnies.

Best. Opening. Ever.

That is probably my favourite single scene in the entire run of the series.

I forgot that I love Itchy and Scratcy land too. I love anything that skewers Disney. I also like...

"Klu Klux Clam, yeah they weren't that funny"

"Bort?"

"Seering gas painland"

"Hey that looks like John Travolta" John Travolta: "Yeah, looks like".

Lone Frenchman ticket booth operator: "Hello Euroland Itchy & Scratcy land is open for business, hello..." (which made fun of how the first few years of Eurodisney did terrible in France and then it took off. Which is just funny how that something so American won over the French, irony is awesome sometimes)

"Bart's Friend Falls in Love", Season 3, it is.

This is not the best episode of the series.

But it's really funny.

I almost forgot, it even has the "Indiana Jones" spoof opening in addition to "Fuzzy Bunny's Guide to you Know What".

Kent Brockman: "Did you know that 34 million American adults are obese? Taken together, that excess blubber could fill the Grand Canyon two-fifths of the way up. That may not sound impressive, but keep in mind it is a very big canyon."

Kamp Krusty and Flaming Moe's were two I liked... as well as that Chili Cook-Off episode

... and "I think I bent my wookie" is easily one of the funniest lines ever from the show

Ralph rules.

The episode where Bart makes a long-distance call to Australia. The booting and so forth.

I can't believe I can't think of the name of that episode. :(

"Bart VS Australia".

The day that I hear someone in this country speak like that, I'll let you know.
