Im a student at University of Delaware, and I was active through the college Republicans with many local races, which we lost across the board. :(

"College Republicans?" I thought they only had those at engineering schools; I do remember a fairly large Republican contingent when I went to GT...

Ohio is not that close.

Hell, at this point, I want Bush to say "Fuck the concession. I won. Deal with it".

I think he's planning to do that.

CALL NEW MEXICO.

The exit polls in New Jersey and North Carolina were way off

New Mexico isn't over.

Santa Fe is the districts in play and they have tons of absentee ballots.

What's with the sudden aversion that CNN has to even hinting that Kerry barely has any chance in Ohio. And it was a fucking joke when they were using one county to estimate the amount of provisional ballots in the state.

Over 30,000 absentee ballots? If not, then they shouldn't count them because Bush's lead right now is 30,000+.

We've grown a lot in numbers. We have really dedicated and energetic leadership that has done a great job of integrating us into State commitee and local campaigns.

According to the news I got from my gf, the local news got a report that New Mexico has 70,000 of them.

Hell, she is one of them cause of her school.

I don't have a problem with Democrats per se...

I hate their leadership because they're so incredibly far left that it's hurting the country.

Internationally, they're centerists.

I don't really care for Daschle and don't like Kennedy just because I hate legacies. I'm also not a big fan of Byrd because, well, duh. But I don't think those reasons alone are enough that the whole party needs to be flushed down the toilet.

In short, my views are pretty much that the Democratic party of the 1940s and 1950s was the party's shining hour while their so-called "golden years" from 1960 on have been a whitewashed disaster, ESPECIALLY since the "young turks" seized power after the 1968 elections.

I'm curious. Are you one of those guys that genuinely rambles about how the 1950s were the high point of America and things got all rotten once people started fighting for civil rights? I know they exist, I've just never talked to one.

There are only 22 precincts left and almost no way for Daschle to make up a 9000 vote deficit.

You'd be surprised how many Native Americans they can get to vote.

-=Mike

Yeah, that's why I've been saying this one will be settled in the courts.

I'm just wondering if Daschle will take a big chunk of the party's national support down with him.

Hasn't he already done that?

Jeff Greenfield seems to be begging for Kerry to give it up

He's the only one on CNN who has the balls to insinuate it.

He's been hinting for a couple hours now that, with Bush up far ahead in Ohio and winning the PV, Kerry should consider conceeding for the good of us all.
