Guest MikeSC Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Just checked it to see how its going. Looks like Kerry is trying to pull a Sore-Loserman! Fucking loser. Yes, he's clearly a sore loser because he's waiting for every ballot to be counted! What illigitimate trickery is this!? He's down by over 140,000 votes. Yes, he's trying to steal it. -=Mike
bob_barron Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 New Mexico won't be certified till the morning. Are we a fucking 3rd world country?
2GOLD Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Screw New Mexico Come on Iowa! 16 freakin counties. I'm not tired, just incredibly annoyed.
Guest MikeSC Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 New Mexico won't be certified till the morning. Are we a fucking 3rd world country? Well, Richardson can happily go and fuck himself. I will do whatever possible to make certain he NEVER wins the Dem nomination. Shame, since I liked him. -=Mike
Jobber of the Week Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 This post-election nonsense is keeping me from GTA...come on guys, hurry this up. So, where are you at in GTA?
1234-5678 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 http://daschlevthune.typepad.com/daschle_v_thune/ There are only 22 precincts left and almost no way for Daschle to make up a 9000 vote deficit. You'd be surprised how many Native Americans they can get to vote. -=Mike Geronimo Sitting Bull Chief Joseph The Last Mohican Crazy Horse Don't forget Crazytalk Tatanka and Chief Jay Strongbow too. Also, those guys who Kronic demolished on that WWA PPV.
Jobber of the Week Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 He's down by over 140,000 votes. Yes, he's trying to steal it. -=Mike Even if it's looking bad or indeed impossible, I think every vote should be counted. Wait until either legislation begins or a recount is proposed and then we can start making a case.
GreatWhiteNope Posted November 3, 2004 Author Report Posted November 3, 2004 World's Greatest Democracy, eh? That's Britain.
Guest MikeSC Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Oooh, it's over. CBS gives NV to Bush. -=Mike
bob_barron Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I love how impatient Larry King is. He's been hilarious all night. He wants this to be over
teke184 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I don't have a problem with Democrats per se... I hate their leadership because they're so incredibly far left that it's hurting the country. Internationally, they're centerists. I don't really care for Daschle and don't like Kennedy just because I hate legacies. I'm also not a big fan of Byrd because, well, duh. But I don't think those reasons alone are enough that the whole party needs to be flushed down the toilet. In short, my views are pretty much that the Democratic party of the 1940s and 1950s was the party's shining hour while their so-called "golden years" from 1960 on have been a whitewashed disaster, ESPECIALLY since the "young turks" seized power after the 1968 elections. I'm curious. Are you one of those guys that genuinely rambles about how the 1950s were the high point of America and things got all rotten once people started fighting for civil rights? I know they exist, I've just never talked to one. Civil Rights is NOT part of my reasoning. My reasoning is based more on the fact that the "young turks" decided that they were going to change the world and damned if anyone was going to stop them. The problem is that, while they think they're doing good, they have a HORRIBLE track records. 1972 was the first election where they called the shots for the Dems. They lost in the BIGGEST electoral defeat of that time. Between 72 and 76, they systematically destroyed Richard Nixon and forced Gerald Ford upon the country in an effort to win the White House in 1976. (Gerald Ford only became VP because he was the only Republican that the Democrats would let Nixon have) In 1976, the Democrats finally won the White House back for the first time since LBJ was president when Jimmy Carter took over. Unfortunately, Carter was completely useless as president and proceeded to make mistakes that are still costing us today, such as installing the Ayatollah in Iran in place of the Shah. When Ronald Reagan beat Carter in 1980, they were PISSED. They spent the next 8 years fighting all of his efforts tooth-and-nail. To this day, they still don't give him credit for anything. They love to blame him for certain things (Iran-Contra) but don't like to explain the circumstances behind those things. Example- The Contras were the legally elected government of Nicaragua. When the Sandinistas stole power from them, the Dems blocked Reagan from aiding them despite the fact that they WERE the legally elected party. I could go on and on, but let's just say that they have a horrible track record since the days of FDR (and ESPECIALLY since Kennedy died) and that certain negative aspects of our daily lives can be attributed to their "the ends justify the means" mindset.
Guest MikeSC Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I just realized --- Kerry sabotaged Edwards' hopes for a political career. Notice, he sent Edwards out for that lame speech --- he hasn't uttered a word. -=Mike
