This Week in the NBA

Recommended Posts

I don't have Season Pass, and the Clips aren't on too much in Buffalo. :P

OMG YOUR EAGAN

Are you a Clippers fan because they used to play in Buffalo? Cool.

"Elton. Can I watch the Clippers if I live in Kalamazoo?"

"With NBA League Pass, you can, Bill."

Thank goodness the Heat finally show how well they can play with the rest of the league against a real opponent.

JO with 39...

Artest with 29...

Iverson 5-23 FG...

...and we lose.

The commercials lie, God is decidedly not a Pacer fan.

Lakers drop one to the Orlando Magic.

Will they even get the #8 slot?

I still hold out hope that the team's chemistry just needs to improve. They've looked great at times, horrible at others. Though to be fair, the Orlando Magic have been playing a hell of a lot better this season.

I think with so much movement in the offseason, we're destined to see something close to parity in the NBA now, as well.

Anyways, the Suns and Jazz have looked outstanding, while the Kings and Rockets haven't been playing up to expectations.. So I guess we might be seeing "a change of guard" as they like to say. The Lakers have been even more erratic, but that was mostly expected. Although unfortunately Slava returned to the lineup recently and Jermaine Jones who had been doing great, went on the injured list, where last year's starter at PG Devean George and starting C Vlade "Slowtime" Divac are. I'd happily trade a career-ending injury on Medvedenko to have George and Divac back in.

Kobe-Odom-Butler-Mihm could be great if they keep it together and don't give up... All they need is someone to play pointguard.. Anyone?!

last year's starter at PG Devean George

???

My mistake. I forgot all about Gary Payton already, and that George plays SF.

Still he was the "unknown starter" with Kobe, Shaq, Malone, and Payton.

I really don't see the Lakers doing much more than treading water this year. They'll win 44 tops, and that might not be enough to snag a playoff spot. Denver barely snuck in at 43.

It's still too early in the season to call anything right now, but if the top 4 teams in the West are San Antonio (who LA almost came back to beat), Minnesota, Phoenix, and Utah.. I think the Lakers can play better than the rest of the West. And yes, that includes Sacramento and Denver.

If I hear "Detroit should haev picked Carmelo lol" one more time, I'm going to put a brick through my TV.

Detroit should have picked Carmelo.....

Knicks with their second win in a row, improve to .500. Another great performance from the Marbury/Crawford backcourt, Mike Sweetney and Penny Hardaway turn in good performances from the bench. Clippers bench looked brutal and Marko Jaric STILL isn't a PG no matter how bad Dunleavy wishes he was. Chris Wilcox is the real deal, look for the Clippers to trade him and for him to become a perennial all-star.

Forget That

Detroit should have picked Dwayne Wade. Imagine him on the Pistons, they would be unbeatable.
