alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2004 In the Hornets' defense, Davis has been hurt pretty much the whole year. The Bulls are just terrible.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2004 DAMNIT!!!! The Clippers can't catch a fucking break. I was so excited for this Thursday's game because the Clips were finally going to have their entire roster on the floor. However Shaun Livingston dislocated his knee in practice today and is out for two months. He is such a fun guy to watch and has been doing well for a rookie that it just kills me that he is out of action.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2004 Hornets got their first win last night, beating the Jazz in Utah. This leaves the Bulls as the NBA's only winless team.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2004 The HORNETS beat the Jazz?!? What the hell is happening to them? They're sputtering back to .500, oh well. And how can the Bulls be THIS bad. This is a disgrace. Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich...we should be able to get a win SOMEWHERE...

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2004 Pacers win by 10 against Boston, Tinsley with 29 and James Jones with a career-high 22 to go with 10 rebounds. Fred Jones had a 20-10 game as well, I believe.

Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2004 Portland defeats Miami, continuing their stupifying run of going 4-1 against teams with records above .500 and winless against teams with losing records. They did the same thing last year, with good records against the Kings, Wolves and teams like that but always seemed to suck against the teams they should beat. Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted November 25, 2004 Lebron just shit all over the Piston's collective proverbial shoes. I don't know how to react to things that live up to the hype, so I'll just stick with being bitter and cynical for no reason. -It's time to just gut the Bulls. Keep Hinrich, Deng, Gordon and a few other guys and just let go of the Curry/Chandler experiments. It's not happening. - Sacramento is in such an awful place. They gotta keep Webber happy but 75% of the time when he's leading the team in scoring, they seem to get beaten. When the offense is ran for Peja, Bibby and Miller, they're fine, but Webber's done for. He can still get numbers but he'll get them in the most awkward way possible and usually at the expense of his own team, although he does look better than he did last year. Which isn't saying much, but still. - Just in general shaky play from everyone except the friggin Sonics, they're the only team thats been consistent in this early season. Well Chicago has been too, but I'm sure they'd love if their season spun out of control all of a sudden.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 Well, Sac isn't in too awful of a place. They just won their sixth in a row and seem to have found their niche and rotation. They'll be fine. Until the playoffs. Seattle just keeps on trucking. I must say they have been the surprise, by far, of this season without the name Ron Artest and riot attached. LeBron is making a case for not just best 2 guard in the league, but possible MVP candidate. All at the tender age of 19. He is way ahead of schedule. Wade isn't too far behind and his game has stepped up big time. Carmelo has dropped off big time and hasn't shot the ball well except a handful of times. Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2004 Here is more good P.R. for the NBA INDIANAPOLIS -- Minnesota Timberwolves center Michael Olowokandi was arrested early Thursday morning after he refused to leave a club. Police officers used a stun gun to subdue Olowokandi, 29, and take him into custody at about 3 a.m. after he refused to leave Tiki Bob's, said Indianapolis Police spokesman Sgt. Stephen Staletovich. Olowokandi was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors, Staletovich said. Olowokandi was held overnight in an Indianapolis jail and released Thursday afternoon on his own recognizance. The Timberwolves were in Indianapolis to play the Indiana Pacers later Thursday at Conseco Fieldhouse. Staletovich said the club's manager asked police, who were investigating another call, to help him get the 7-foot Olowokandi to leave. He refused, and police shocked him twice with a stun gun until he complied and they took him into custody. The Associated Press left a message seeking comment Thursday with Timberwolves spokesman Paul Thompson. Olowokandi is averaging 5.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Timberwolves this season. nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2004 Nice to see the Pacers are 2-1 since the suspensions. All they have to do is go 8-14 until Jermaine gets back and theyll be at .500. They will definitely make the playoffs, and almost certainly have homecourt advantage in at least the 1st round.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2004 Okay, listen, guys on TV. Stop calling them the D-Troit Pistons. It's not accurate and it's certainly not hip. The emphasis is on the second fucking syllable, you tools.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2004 Looks like we're going to pull this one out against the 'Cats and move to 3-1 since the suspensions. And we might gain another game on Detroit, to boot.
