Guest Trivia247 Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 So glad a bunch of Fans can talk about the inner workings of the wrestlers minds that they can tell everyone else about the Trusts and the fellowships within the organizations they are not involved in. Holly got punished by jobbing to a jobber, he did it went on with his life, no one is bitching and moaning to the managment about it. Life is going on. You need to Stop posting like This. And Holly jobbing in a dark match is not punishment It was the punishment reported, sure its NOT punishment it was the Wrist slapping the management gave him that he laughed about later
bob_barron Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Huh? He was punished by jobbing in a dark match. WWE claims he was fined but a lot of wrestlers find that hard to believe.
Guest Trivia247 Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Thanks to Pwinsider for the following: -Bob Holly was punished at the Smackdown! Tapings last night when he did the job in a dark match to Chris Masters. This was his punishment for attacking and shooting on Rene Dupree at this weekend's house show. It does not look like he will recieve any further punishment, maybe a fine of some sort, but this appears to be it. It is said that Holly didn't mind doing the job and was actually backstage laughing about it.
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Holly: (laughing) I can beat the shit out of anyone I want and get away with it! If I was him, I'd be laughing too. Too bad he doesn't beat on people that really suck and have no potential like Kenzo Suzuki or Mark Jindrak.

As was pointed out earlier in this thread, if he had gone after Suzuki, he'd likely have come out on the losing end. It's only a matter of time, a la Brock, before Holly picks on the wrong guy again and he'll get his ass handed to him. One can only pray that that time is soon, and when it happens it'll be for good.
RavishingRickRudo Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 That's the spirit! More shoots in wrestling! Fuck the trust!
Guest BDC Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 Fuck the trust! That's Holly's motto.
Guest Eric the Eagle Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 For the record. I've been a wrestler for three years. After this, I would never knowingly and willingly step in the ring with Bob Holly. He's proven that he can't be trusted with my safety. People may laugh about the "sacred trust", but every time you step in the ring with anyone, you have handed your career and even your life to the person. All it takes is a frickin' bodyslam where he doesn't hold hard enough with his left hand, for God's sake. I think it's probably safe to say that there was never any danger of you stepping in the ring with Holly. I agree totally on that, but I can't really see how that's relevant to anything.
RavishingRickRudo Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 Holly needs to team up with Bradshaw and form "The Trust Fund", where they kick ass in the ring, and soap it in the shower.
Lt. Al Giardello Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 [ Source: PWTorch.com ] - Apparently, Bob Holly heard that Renee Dupree was out of a ride, and Bob decided to save Dupree a taxi fare and let Dupree take his rental car. Dupree got a ticket while using Bob’s car, and just threw it away. This lead to a number of problems with Bob Holly, legally and with his insurance. When Dupree was asked about the ticket, Dupree just shrugged it off and laughed about it. Basically, Dupree screwed over Holly with his insurance records. Dupree has a lot of heat backstage, and is a “stooge” to management, that rats out people when they do something that management may not like. Most backstage blame Renee Dupree for several of the recent firings, including the firing of Billy Gunn, who is close friends with Bob Holly. Dupree is described as “aggravating to be around”, and a “babbling idiot”. Dupree’s attitude is said to be very disrespectful towards Holly, and several others backstage. Dupree is to blame for the firing of Billy Gunn? Dupree is GOD~!
Highland Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 I don't understand how Dupree can be blamed for the firing of Billy Gunn or any of the other "talent" as it is Vince McMahon that decides to stays and who goes. Unless Dupree is the second coming of HHH.
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 When was the last time Triple H booked himself to job to everyone on the roster (multiple times)? Rene Dupree is simply the "Young buck blue chipper" WWE is pushing for the future, and everyone hates it.
Ultra Violence Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 Holly: I wanted to destroy something beautiful.
Guest Mordecai's Cathedral Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 "Holly needs to team up with Bradshaw and form "The Trust Fund", where they kick ass in the ring, and soap it in the shower." ROFL!
Guest BDC Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 According to the new post Hunters Torn Quad made, Holly's been used as an in-company enforcer for quite a while and this MAY have been encouraged by management. IF THAT IS THE CASE, then I'll lay off of him at this point. However, I will NOT lay off of him given what he did to the TE kid and to DDP.
The Czech Republic Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 According to the new post Hunters Torn Quad made, Holly's been used as an in-company enforcer for quite a while and this MAY have been encouraged by management. Just another strike against World Wrestling Entertainment calling itself a legitimate "integrated media entity" or whatever buzzword permutation they have going. Like a real company says "yeah that guy screwed up, rough him up a little." It's a step up from the mob. Rene Dupree is simply the "Young buck blue chipper" WWE is pushing for the future, and everyone hates it.

Take it for what it's worth, but on Off The Record last night, Triple H said that Holly was given one last chance to not "do that again". Hunter himself said Holly's actions were "inexcusable".
The Czech Republic Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 "So you want me to show you around the office?" "Sure, I'd love to." "Okay, this is Matt, he's in charge of media relations. This is Chris from fan services. And this is Rick from post-production. Oh and there's Bob, he's our hired goon."

He said he thinks it was a final warning. I get the impression that if Trip was running this company instead of Vince, that Holly would be gone.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 We'll find out if Hunter's comments had any merit the next time Holly does something unprofessional like this. My guess is we'll see something by WM XXI, probably over Holly being pissed at not being on the card.
Guest Brian Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 I get the feeling that Trips was doing some pr work, and not actually speaking freely.
Guest Prof_Plague Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 I wouldn't fire Holly. I'd make him go back to the Sparky Plugg gimmick. In actuality, all this could give Holly seem heat and don't be surprised if he gets another big push.
Guest deadbeater Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Brian, what you expect Trips to say? 'Holly showed Dupree his place, and if Holly was here, I would give him a high-five"?
