ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2005 Is it jsut me, or is this the first Rumble in a LONG time where we have more than one possible winner? Batista, Orton, Edge, Benoit, Michaels, Cena, Angle, Taker. Any of those could take it. Take Orton off the list. He's in the title match at the Rumble. EDIT: Angle too. Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted January 18, 2005 @ First i was trying to figure out Why shawn was on the list then it hit me like a ton of bricks. They said the winner chooses which title he wants. Naturally If Shawn wins...and let's say Orton OR Triple H is champion. Angle wins @ Rumble... Presto! HBK Vs Angle for the title. Why? Shawn's beaten HHH for the title before and beaten Orton. Angle's considered one of the greatest of all time. Shawn wants the challenge of Angle @ Mania. Angle considers Shawn past his prime and over the hill and undeserving of a title match. If HHH wins...Batistia winning the rumble works. If Batistia screws HHH; Edge winning to face Orton works. Benoit? Nah; I dont see how he's a "potential" winner. He'll get the "OMG~! HE WON LAST YEAR! HE WENT 62 MINUTES! HE HAS TO BE A FAVORITE!!!" push...and maybe last to the final moments but not winner. If Edge wins, Edge should beat Benoit at the end. Cena. Well US Titleholder and rumored challenger for Bradshaw. Why were Angle, Taker and Orton on the list? They are booked in a match or not yet announced for the rumble.

While Edge and HBK are in the Rumble, they also have the singles match against each other.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted January 18, 2005 This is true. I just hope they dont tack on a "winner gets #30 spot" stipulation or "loser is #1".
Guest FromBeyondTheGrave Report post Posted January 18, 2005 On Raw next week. Batistia(wins) Vs Ric Flair It's Ric Flair .VS. Randy Orton, next week.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2005 That's be nice if Cena won and chose to go to RAW and face Orton for the title at WM (providing Orton was actually put over by HHH involving the title) so we'd have a dream match and a title match at the same time (like Shadow Fbed above with Kurt / Shawn)! Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted January 18, 2005 On Raw next week. Batistia(wins) Vs Ric Flair It's Ric Flair .VS. Randy Orton, next week. this happens when i dont watch raw save for the CVC match. Fine...Batistia Vs Tomko then. Benoit goes over someone else then.

That is the worst scenario yet. cena/orton? that's atrocious. Two vanila stale faces? No. Im really wanting Edge to go over Shawn in a bloody match. Shawn does a "carried to back" spot and they do the bret "can he come back for the rumble?" sell...While Angle meets and congrats Edge for his victory as he heads for his match. Angle makes "So you beat a Old timer. good job edge" style comment. Angle squeaks out with the title. Rumble. Edge #18. Shawn hobbles out @ 26 and does the Bret stuff and it goes down to Eddy, Edge, Shawn and Cena...Eddy and Cena toss each other out. Shawn SCM's Edge out. Shawn is the winner. Shawn hobbles out of the ring after a brief celebration...Shawn is walking backstage and there you see Angle with the title around his shoulder... Kurt: Congrats Shawn. Didn't think you had it in ya. Ya Know for a old timer... Shawn: Yeah...Thanks but ya know...that? wasn't nothing. You see winning the rumble was good. Throwing edge out to once again ruin his "destiny"...that was good...but this *points to the title* is even greater. Enjoy your reign with this belt Kurt...because @ Mania. It's mine. Guest FromBeyondTheGrave Report post Posted January 18, 2005 Id mark out like a 10 year old skool girl at that. How much does a 10 year school girl actually mark out? She's hasn't even hit puberty yet.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2005 Yeah, that would work. But Michaels would have to jump to SD right? Based on the precedent with Benoit, and that pretty much means he'd be winning the WWE title and jobbing it back to JBL. It would be interesting to see what they'd do with Edge after that, he needs to go after a world title.
Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted January 18, 2005 Orton wins the belt due to Batista finally turning on HHH. Edge beats HBK at Rumble but loses in the Rumble. Edge cuts his does his gimmick about getting screwed, Orton comes out and tells him to start acting like a man and not a pussy. Presto HBK-Angle HHH-Batista no title Orton-Edge
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted January 18, 2005 Yeah. Shawn needs to be on SD anyways. It's perfect. Gets the title off JBL, gives us angle/shawn and gets Shawn on SD so he can turn heel and go against Eddy and London and haas and Mysterio...
Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted January 18, 2005 Yah, a HBK Heel would rule, no matter what show. Jericho, Benoit, Benjerman Haas, Mysterio, Eddy Same diff to me. HBK heel getting shit-kicked by a pissed of Benoit might be the greatest thing ever.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 90 second intervals this year. It's a good thing we'll get 25+ minutes with Heidencrap and Undertaker. Oh please... Didn't you see Royal Rumble last year? It's OBVIOUS that HHH/Orton will be going 25+ this year, not Taker/Hedienreich
Taker666 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 I think its safe to say that Batista is going to be in the Rumble. On Raw, it was mentioned that Batista is gonna be in a RR Qualify match next week. no matter who hes wrestling. you know hes gonna win. so yeah, Batista is in the RUmble aswell. Sass 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 Shelton Benjamin facing Chris Jericho for the WWE title at Wrestlemania could be interesting if Jericho got to book the build-up for the match. The Smackdown title scene is fucked at this point. The company should just shoot it's wad and let uber underdog Booker T beat the #1 star on SD!Kurt Angle for his first and final WWE title reign. Book can retire after the show or something. The title has too much shit on it right now. Let a title tournament or cage match determine who the WWE SD! champ will be. Have Cena trash the field in decisive fashion to snatch his first title win. The Summerslam ME can be a champ vs. champ match with Cena vs. x RAW champ. Make it for unification since the Brand Extension has been botched so royally that it has done nothing to improve attendance or ratings since implemented (sans a few ratings spikes from the brand draft). They might as well cut their losses with those guys at the helm. That might create some buzz.

MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 I'll vote (2). No way HHH isn't defending the World Title at WrestleMania and I think he's given up on Orton.

Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted January 22, 2005 Orton wins due to Batista. Not sure if by mistake or not. So A. Vince wont let Orton flounder into WM without the belt. He knows HHH has a hot fued, he dosn't need it.
