Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 (edited) What will happen during the last RAW in 2004, which airs mere weeks before the huge New Year’s Revolution pay-per-view? During the last live RAW, General Manager Eric Bischoff returned from a month-long vacation to find the World Heavyweight Championship vacated. Bischoff promptly shocked those involved in the controversy by declaring that the title would be won in the Elimination Chamber. How will the six Superstars involved prepare for this high-stakes encounter, and will Triple H, Batista, Edge, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho or Chris Benoit try to soften some of their future opponents before the big pay-per-view? Also, Gene Snitsky was stopped by a wall of flame while in pursuit of Lita. Does this mean we'll see the monster Kane on RAW? Newcomers Muhammad Hassan and Khosrow Daivari recently had words with Mick Foley. Will they back up the talk on Monday Night? And what's the status of Simon Dean, who was officially signed to the RAW roster by Bischoff? Be sure to tune in to Monday Night RAW (9/8 CT; Spike TV) for all the answers. - Last year; Raw closed off the year with it's TVMOTYC. So far nothing has been announced as far as a match is concerned, It'd be a nice closing touch to a solid wrestling year to finish off with another quality match. *Note-This is not the OAO thread, it was revived last week due to it being a reduced crowd because of the Holiday Best of Special but tonight; I'd direct you to the Randown OAO board to get your OAOing in. This thread is for pre show speculation and post show reaction and complaints here Edited December 28, 2004 by The Shadow Behind You
AlaskanHero Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 I'd appreciate it if someone posted the link to the OAO Board. For those who haven't memorized it's URL.

Guest Phenom Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Well, it's time to say goodbye to Y2J+4, and hello to Y2J5. Let's take a look back at Y2J+4: WWE Intercontinental Champion from 9/12-10/19 Man, not his best year. Well, here's to Y2J5!
Art Sandusky Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 I'm sure Y2J4.9 will have something interesting. ... or I'm just deluding myself after watching mid-2000 tapes today.
RHR Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Umm...that link above doesn't really help...howsabout a direct link?
Guest sek69 Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 I love how they already cut the legs off of Hassan's character by having him cut a promo against the troops during his debate with Foley. They could have gone in so many directions where he could cut promos about things that would have cemented his heelness while at the same time have a kernel of truth about them, but I guess Vince would rather have him fuel his jack-off fantasies about the military.
Lil' Bitch Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Goldberg's on American Choppers right now.
Twisted Intestine Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 This will be the first RAW I've watched since... Maven was GM. Let's hope for something good! I'm interested in seeing how Batista/HHH interact. Also interested in seeing if anything is done with Kane. ...Has Matt Hardy returned yet!? I'd be interested in watching him as well.

BUTT Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 ...Has Matt Hardy returned yet!? I'd be interested in watching him as well. I don't think Hardy is going to be back for a few months.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 No posting here!
dpac Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Mabey I missed something, but why is there not a OAO Raw thread going on here tonight?
MikeJordan23 Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Mabey I missed something, but why is there not a OAO Raw thread going on here tonight? It makes the board crash so they moved the Raw threads to http://randown.hosted-forum.com/
RHR Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 I LIKE BREAKING ALL THE RULES!!!!!! WHAT'S UP WITH MAVEN'S TRUNKS??? OMG~~~WHERES FOLEY???
razazteca Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 What no pics of the Arabs taunting JR and King?
Guest JMA Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Oh God, not ANOTHER debate... How exactly is this going to help Hassan and Davari get over? Has any announcer vs. wrestler feud ever been good? I can't recall any that were even remotely watchable.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 (edited) Not a bad show tonight, it was not long and boring and had a somewhat fresh show concept that strung the whole 2 hours together. Good hype of announcing the guest referee. Nicely building to the complete Batista turn... Good comedy from Eugene. Overall it was a very solid night and we had 8 matches!!! When's the last time raw hit 8 matches? Edited December 28, 2004 by The Shadow Behind You
claydude14 Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Well Trips finally got a job back from Shelton. That hurts the IC title in my eyes.
Exslade ZX Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 ...I thought it was a great RAw. Had good building for the EC. Good building for Batista. And Good building for Batista/HHH, as well as everyone vs HHH. And for the people who complaing about there never being wrestling anymore, there were EIGHT! (damn) matches tonight.
Guest Fook Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Trips just had to get his job back from Benjamin, didn't he? And in like 4 minutes no less. Could the guest referee have been any more obvious? Why is Snitsky scared of Kane? He put Kane on the shelf for four months last time they faced. Next week's debate is going to be a fine time to channel surf. On the bright side, lots of wrestling tonight, and that's always welcome.
Exslade ZX Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 Well Trips finally got a job back from Shelton. That hurts the IC title in my eyes. ...Yea...because a champion should never lose. lol. Contrary to what some may think, because of what they've seen from HHH the past few years. Champions are not invinceable. And it makes even more sense that the IC title shouldn't be able to beat the World champion anyways...(even though he has before). And yes, I know technically, Trips isn't the champ now.
Guest Trivia247 Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 It doesn't hurt the IC title if a World title Contenter and Multi time World title holder defeats the champion.
Guest JMA Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 I would've liked to see Shelton beat Triple H and go on to the Elimination Chamber, but that was pretty much hopeless. I'm still almost positive that Triple H is winning, so taking him out would've greatly increased speculation over whom the next champion would be.
Tawren Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 The beat the clock stuff was a neat idea, as I was thinking to myself earlier about how the six people in the match should have to qualify for it somehow. I would have liked to have seen the jobbers get more offense, though, as it was painfully obvious who would win each match. As for HBK as guest ref, that's a stupid idea. On a show already lacking in matches, build up, and stars (6 of the biggest guys are in one match) they put another big star into the main event. As far as match quality goes, the same as always - subpar.
Gary Floyd Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 An alright Raw. I don't have a problem wit HHH winning, except that it was under 4 minutes at least. IMO, this whole Muhhamed Hussein (sic?) is insulting. Not on an obvious level, but more on an insult to my intelligence level, IMO. Wow, HBK special guesdt ref. I saw that coming a mile away. I'm really, REALLY starting to hate this guy. Oh, and a note to the WWE: When Creed broke up, alot of people were happy, ok?
Guest Evolution Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 It'd be awesome if they actually describe why everyone in the Elimination Chamber doesn't like the decision of HBK as guest referee so it doesn't sound like typical WWE-overexaggeration. Pretty sure every person in the EC has a reason to not like him as the referee. HHH - Kinda goes without saying. Batista - Had a feud with Michaels around Armageddon last year, which included Shawn doing the whole "internal injuries" thing after Batista choked him out. Orton - Actually...shouldn't he be more indifferent about the whole thing? Jericho - Faced HBK at Wrestlemania X-9, "idolized HBK and patterned his career after him" and ended up feuding with him. No love lost kind of thing, since they are both faces. Edge - Insanely jealous of HBK winning the popular vote for the title shot at Taboo Tuesday and screwing him out of his first close call with a World Title shot. Benoit - The two triple threat matches at Wrestlemania/Backlash and perhaps more before that. Not too sure on that. In fact, for all six, there might be something that happened a while ago that I've forgotten. But I think I've got all the bases covered. Besides Orton's days in Evolution, however, I don't see what beef Orton would have with Michaels. Oh, and Viscera's noises in the ring completely covered for the fact that he didn't really sell very well at all.
