Man, you can tell Jack really wanted to kill Marwan. In fact, I bet Jack caps him next week just for the hell of it.

Great episode, I thought. Started slow, but really built til' the end.

And Season 5, Jack vs. the Chinese?

As for the target, my bet is Los Angeles. I actually had this conversation with some friends. One mentioned China as well, but Marwan's video message said that the American people wake up to collect "their dead", not someone else's dead.

And everything ends up happening in Los Angeles anyway - that's how they add extra drama, by everyone actually being in danger.

So is Jack going to be arrested and tried by the Chinese government because Edgar dropped the ball?

I wonder why CTU didn't try to pin Lee's kidnapping on Marwan. The consulate said Lee was there for protection from US authorities AND for protection from Marwan, so it doesn't seem too far fetched that Marwan would go in to grab him, and it would do away with this "You called about it half an hour ago, it can't be coincidence!" nonsense.

But now CTU's gotta do it the hard way. Sheesh.

I think Edgar going "what?" when asked about If Jack was working with him or not hardly qualifies as definitive proof, but you never know. This China vs The U.S.A. storyline Is either going to bleed Into next season, or I think The Agent who's face was caught on Camera will be given up by CTU to avert WW3.

The camera shot of Jack's hand trying to touch Audrey was very good directing.

Jack loses another woman he loves.

And I have a feeling this next episode is just gonna be the calm before the storm.

Oh, that dastardly Mandy.

And I think Tony might bite the bullet. That Goodbye with Michelle was a bit too emotional.

Oh, that dastardly Mandy.

Was wondering why that person looked so familiar...

I was wondering what happend to them after they wrote off an entire year of the show after her appearance at the end of season two. Given the "we caught the people responsible" line by Palmer's brother in season three, I figured she'd been picked up in the resulting investigation.

Have they explained at all what happened to Behrooz?

Or Mitch Anderson?

Great to see our favorite Lesbian Terrorist back in action, heh.

And it looks like Tony won't survive this season, as soon as that scene with him and Michelle went down I could just see it happening...

Makes sense. The guy went back and said they would hear from him in the morning. Even though they KNOW it's Jack, I see it as more of a "next season" problem.

Only 1 episode left.

I wonder how it's gonna end. They already used the emotionally exhausted Jack ending last season. I think if Tony goes, it won't be the ending... it would probably be at the end of the first hour.

I think Mitch Anderson died. Behrooz, not so much.

I think Anderson ejected before the crash - he kept asking for safety guarantees from Marwan.

Behrooz, I suppose, will factor into the last couple of eps, but it'll probably be something that'll make us dislike him even more. So Tony's probably taking a bullet for him.

Happy ending: Tony gets out of predicament with Mandy and he and Michelle walk away from CTU during the sunrise (show ends in the morning)

24 ending: Tony eats it and Michelle ends up a wreck like everyone else who dedicates their lives to CTU a la Jack.

The missle is obviously hitting somewhere, so don't you think that HAS to be the ending? Sure Tonys been a gigantic character in the show, but his death overshadowing MILLIONS of people dieing? I hope not.

I think they'll stop the missile, Tony won't die and then the final twist will be Jack getting arrested for the Chinese incident.

And then Chloe will save him with a chain gun.
