Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Fuck this. They had a EASY goldmine Eddy/Booker Vs RVD/Rey program to build to mania. God damn it. Now we're getting another fucking 4 way @ Mania.

The worst possible choice out of the four teams (aka the most unover and untalented team in the match) walks out with the belts? I think they will do anything to get the Bashams over, no matter what the cost.

Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted January 12, 2005 What injury is that? I think it's a worked injury here. It's the classic heel turn setup...heel gets "hurt"...comes back and screws his partner.

No, he's one of the many...(ok, 3) people that have a knee injury. Read he was supposed to be getting an MRI or something, possibly surgery (?) This week, or next week, or something like that can't really remember. But yea, he does have a real injury and needs time off to heal, so evidently that's the reason they took the belts off them and did this injury angle. I think they will do anything to get the Bashams over, no matter what the cost. If they wanted to get them over, I'd suggest letting them talk and encouraging them not to work the "new WWE style" and wrestle how they did in OVW. They're certainly a much better team than Reigns and Jindrak. The Revolution, aka the Bashams as OVW Main Eventers
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 *Akio pinned Paul London *Charlie Haas defeated Rene Dupree Wow, those are a couple odd choices for winners. London's done more recently, so unless there's a program brewing between those 2, I don't get that decision at all. And when was the last time Haas won a match? Angle-plex 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 I've been watching Smackdown since last month, and so far I've seen this: Big Show beats Team Angle in 3 on 1 match. Then chokeslams everyone after Angle/JBL match. Then last week Amy Weber outsmarts Kurt. Kurt makes a fool of himself in a speedo while rubbing his nipples. Big Show chases his and gets attacked by team Angle. Show destroys all of them. Then THIS week Show forces Angle to apologize to Joy? Meanwhile JBL is booked to be a fool, honky tonk man champion. Seems like not much has changed since I stopped watching last January...

Tawren 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 Yeah, Joy has such a well rounded character that everyone will care about this huge shocker of an angle. As always, sounds like Velocity > Smackdown. Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2005 The Kidman/London program had more heat before it got cut off than any of JBL's programs. Angle is being booked like a tool. So much for the "Honor Society" or whatever the planned name for he, Reigns and Jindrak was. Big Show went from a career resurgence to fat man in love. JBL is, well, JBL. Bashams shouldn't have won the belts. I'd have given them to Eddie and Booker, and feuded them with a returning Dudley team. Dupree is still in the doghouse apparently. Also love how since Haas got the women out of his life and was supposed to be "on the right track", he's been stricken to the B show.
