Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 this guy will sooner be in a body bag than kick his problems. which is a horrible shame.
Precious Roy Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 The fact that he's lasted this long amazes me. Honestly, It wouldn't surprise me if he lives another decade or three, he's a fucking snake.
2GOLD Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Jake is immune to coke by this point. Him getting arrested just means it is a day that ends in y. If there is ever a nuclear war, the only things left alive will be roaches, Keith Richards and Jake Roberts.
Special K Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 How come John Belushi and Jimi Hendrix had to kick the bucket, but this guy's still around? It is a shame, but he's clearly out of control. How long has he been addicted to this stuff? 15 years?
Guest LooneyTune Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 God letting Roberts live is probably a harsher punishment than death.
Use Your Illusion Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 'This past week in Georgia, former WWF and WCW star Jake Roberts was arrested for possession of cocaine. The arrest took place after a search of his hotel room turned up a crack pipe and residue. Georgia newspaper, Main Street News, reported that a women who claimed to be Roberts girlfriend was stopped by authorities and allegedly had drugs in her possession. At that point the woman directed police to Roberts' hotel room. Roberts, who is now living in Pompano Beach, Florida, has a history of drug problems.' Jake is the Keith Richards of wrestling. The man could survive a nuclear holocaust.
Precious Roy Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 It is a shame, but he's clearly out of control. How long has he been addicted to this stuff? 15 years? I'd say it points to him being in control, as unlike Belushi and Hendrix he must not do insane OD inducing ammounts, he just keeps up a steady habit. I'd say Keith Richards is the same way.

The arrest took place after a search of his hotel room turned up a crack pipe and residue. Not to mention that Jake also skipped out on his animal cruelty hearing over in England... -Ben
tbondrage99 Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 How Jake is still alive is something I will never understand.
JoeDirt Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 I would have loved to see Jake in his prime vs. Raven in his prime. Jake these days is just sad.
MrRant Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 Jake is immune to coke by this point. Him getting arrested just means it is a day that ends in y. If there is ever a nuclear war, the only things left alive will be roaches, Keith Richards and Jake Roberts. You forgot Twinkies.
CBright7831 Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 This is shocking. Who would have thought Jake was a cocaine user.
Guest M. Harry Smilac Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 Big suprise. Oh well, he's so overrated and in love with himself.
teke184 Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 Jake is now wrestling's version of a Denis Leary routine... "How come all the TALENTED guys are the ones who die from their coke use? Curt Hennig, Art Barr, Louie Spicoli, Brian Pillman... but Jake the Snake would NEVER die... you put him in a room with two tons of crack and he'll come out 30 minutes later yelling 'ROCK ON!'" Granted, Jake WAS talented, but he started going downhill fast in the late 80s when he started inhaling enough coke to kill a whale.
Guest Trivia247 Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 well at least he wasn't additionally charged with Animal Cruelity for coking up a Mal-nourished Python
