This week in the NBA

Recommended Posts

National games

Mon, TNT

Houston @ Memphis, 8 PM ET

Denver @ Golden State, 10:30 PM ET

Wed, ESPN

Minnesota @ LA Lakers, 10:30 PM ET

Thu, TNT

Houston @ Orlando, 8 PM ET

Cleveland @ Sacramento, 10:30 PM ET

Fri, ESPN

Indiana @ Miami, 8 PM ET

San Antonio @ Phoenix, 10:30 PM ET

Looks like an interesting week...T-Mac returns to Orlando for the first time, O'Neal vs O'Neal, and the two best teams in the league wrap it up. Wolves catch LA without Kobe, and not sure if Nash will be back for Friday.

Olowokandi and Nene were both suspended four games for their Friday night fight. Methinks it may not have been quite that stiff if not for the incident in Detroit.

If I never see a Houston Rockets game again, I'll die a happy man. And I like Bob Sura god dammit.

Oh yeah, Camby and Ellison got a game too for leaving the bench. No word if Sprewell got any for his "I'mma kick yo ass while I back up and talk trash" dance routine that he pulled out in the aftermath of the fight.

BULLS SCHEDULE FOR THIS WEEK

- Monday at New York

-Wednesday at Boston

- Friday vs Atlanta

-Saturday at Detroit.

I'm betting on them going 3 and 1, Detroit has finally righted the ship, so they'll probably fall there. Slightly above average, here we come!

I'm holding out for another upset against Detroit that makes Larry Brown go nutty. I think we can ride the wave of momentum from the last Knicks game to beat them again at MSG tomorrow afternoon, and Atlanta/Boston should be easy wins.

Watch the Hawks win by 24.

I love it when the Pistons lose, just because I know, deep down inside, Larry Brown wants to get up and go "DARKO YOU STUPID FAGGOT LOOK WHAT YOU DID!"

Boston could provide problems because they can put points on the board. The Bulls defense has been great, but I'm still not ready to buy into Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler putting forth maximum effort every night.

I'm all for that. However, I have noticed how ESPN's NBA page rarely ever covers the Bulls wins in the top headlines. I know its not really a big deal, however it kinda irks me that they dont get much attention or anything on the site.

Lets keep going!

Gordon is making a nice run, but right now Okafor has it locked down, and he is playing on an expansion team whereas the Bulls are almost completely made up of recent first round picks, so it's not exactly a fair comparison. 15-11-1.5 blocks, 4th in the league in double-doubles for Emeka.
