MooreMark 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2005 As far as the show, Carrie and Bo are the class of this year's field by a mile. The only that even tries to hold a candle to them is Vonzell. I think Bo's performance last night was the single best performance of any song this year. I agree about Bo and Carrie but I think there was a lot of potential talent that got cut way too early. Jessica Sierra, Nadia Turner, Anwar Robinson, Nikko Smith...they all showed that they could be damn good but didn't get enough time to prove it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The slow realization of what just happened, followed by a point to the sky and a verbal thanking of Jesus, directly followed by hugging EVERYONE on the couch. I never watch this show at all, but I'm glad he's gone, simply so I never have to hear another fucking TV critic whine and bitch about how Constantine should be voted off American Idol already. To: American Idol Production -- FOX Network American Idol has millions of viewers watch it each week. There is a possibility that calculations in tabulations may occur - as well as phone errors. In lou of this weeks, American Idol ousting we the viewers of American Idol want a recount. We feel that the results are not accurate to the talent and/or opinions of the audience who views it. We ask that you push back the season by a week and allow a replay of this weeks performances. If the results return the same, then we will accept the facts. However, failure to allow a recount will result in a drastic drop in ratings, as well as, product sales. We also have particular concerns about a certain contestant. Scott Savol's criminal record is blemished with domestic abuse. While it is possible for people to change, we feel that it is unfair to those removed in the past for similiar reasons and that he should be removed immediately from the competition. Any man who hits his pregnant girlfriend surely does not depict what you want your company to be represented by. We are your audience and if you lose us. You have nothing. Ill root for anthony just out of spite, and becuase he has shown he has a voice, even if you all hate on him due to his look, or cuz hes a teenybopper idol type. but be damned if I ever vote for this sham of a show again. one year from now all of these finalist will be in the where are they now file. Who knows. I think that Scott might have gotten a lot of sympathy votes due to his sappy video package and Simon's comments. Or maybe people didn't come out to vote for Const, figuring he'd make it thru anyhow. Or also they may have just not liked his performance on Tuesday (like me, though I would not have cut him yet). Or maybe people came out of the woodwork to vote for the "average joe" as they put it. Personally I like Scott, I don't think he is a great singer by any means , just a good singer with maybe a little potential, but I guess I rooted for him because he looks different than your average idol. starvenger 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 OK, song #1 is done, and my quick-hit thoughts: Sergei - Not very good. Basically it was what you might expect when a white guy sings Motown. (see Boone, Pat) Cop Killa - Probably his best performance yet. I didn't feel like puking, so that's probably a good sign. Vonzell - I dunno, I just didn't get it. Harold - Best performance of the five. Nailed it by using a bit of the Beatles version, I think. Carrie - Almost as good as Bo. It took awhile for me to realize that it was the new Backstreet Boys song. Heavy D - This time, I had no fucking clue what he was singing. That, however, isn't Savol's fault, though. Harold - A little flat, but his song selection really worked for him - a slow song when the others did fast ones, and an upbeat one when the others did slow ones.
