Dear Fellas,

 

Life isn't too bad in the OAOAST. The water is fairly clean and they give us our rations each day. Seems they even started up some work detail...I drew the laundry room. It wasn't too bad working there at first but now everyday is a battle. Ya see Papacita and his friends keep trying to have their way with me. Papacita asked me to wear a long black wig, and while I told him "No, I'm male", one look at his sig told me that didn't seem to matter much. There are days where I fend them off and some where I'm too tired to put up a fight.

 

Gets awfully lonely in here and at times I miss the threads like "Alternatives" and "And so it begins...". Well, I can hear Warden Popick calling bout how he wants to squash me in a one-on-one match so I better get going.

I have friends working in the DOD and based on some rumors they've been telling me recently, I wouldn''t take comments like that lightly. And this is why the current scream-a-thon that politics resembles is the way it is. Keep things even-keeled and civil and people realize that politics and current events are boring as fuck. Gotta have Rush and Moore and all those folks out there acting like their opposing point of view is the equivalent of Armageddon, because damned if it's going to affect you going out and partying with your buds this weekend. Gotta make stuff seem relevant.

I feel pretty bad for including Bush in my Dead Pool for this year, but history dictates that every President during wartime who was re-elected has either died in Office, resigned, or had his VP's die. So, while I wouldn't support an assassination...I would be for a similar fate to that of William Henry Harrison, who died 1 month after his inauguration due to catching pneumonia while making the longest inauguration speech ever in the snow.

 

And if being a fan of history makes me a bad person..so be it.
