Guest DeathBecomesYou Report post Posted January 21, 2005 WWE (Raw) @ Sydney, Australia - Super Dome - April 9, 2005 Hooray, hopefully there'll be a decent card. I might even make the drive to Newcastle for the show on the 8th.
Sideburnious 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 WWE (Smackdown!) @ Dublin, Ireland - The Point - April 21, 2005 Oh great we get the B-show the year I'm not busy. Hopefully RVD will be back by then anyway.
res37618 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Very smart business move by WWE. The overseas shows are almost always sellouts, and with a schedule this extensive, it almost insures an extremely profitable quarter for WWE. I do wonder how many TV tapings there will be? I also wonder if one or more of the shows may be taped for a DVD release of some sort . . . .
Guest Archibald Mutombo Report post Posted January 21, 2005 I do wonder how many TV tapings there will be? Me too!
Guest Dazed Report post Posted January 21, 2005 The last two, the Birmingham shows, are definitely TV tapings.
cawthon777 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 My best guess is that there will be at least two sets of tapings. Maybe on in Australia?
Guest ArchoanJB Report post Posted January 21, 2005 It truly is reverting back to the mid-90's where after WM they leave the country for 3 weeks because business dies over here. It'll be pretty interesting to see what they do for tapings though.
cawthon777 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Just got word that the April 12 Smackdown taping is in Chicago. So it looks like they're coming back from Down Under, doing tapings, THEN heading to Europe.
Eclipse 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 Wow, they have abandoned the U.S for a VERY LONG STRETCH. Understandable, since business here is WAY down. There will be HUGE sellouts in that entire stretch. But, because of the time difference, that means there will be spoilers aplenty, and that won't do good for the ratings here. Guest INXS Report post Posted January 21, 2005 I'm going to the Hull show, providing I can get tickets, it's a 2,000 capacity arena, will be really close to the action. If they sell out i'm going to Newcastle, went there last march, was a good show.
cawthon777 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 But, because of the time difference, that means there will be spoilers aplenty, and that won't do good for the ratings here. It will only play a factor for the Internet wrestling community and that makes up a very small percentage of the fanbase. Hell, if something important happens and the spoilers get out, it might actually boost ratings.
Shooting Star 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 There's a bit of a rumor about the WWE coming back to the caribbean in April but I heard it got cancelled because of all the concerts scheduled around semana santa (don't know what to call that in english). But Summerslam may take place here I don't know but I hope so.

Garth 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 I bought tickets for the Raw and Smackdown tapings in Birmingham. Really looking forward to it, got allot better seats than I've had for a WWE event before.
Caliban 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2005 I managed to get £45 lower tiered seating, 4 tickets for Raw. Dialled that phone number so many times, took 90 minutes until I got a dial tone. Can't fucking wait. This'll be my first live show since One Night Only in the same arena. You get a great view in the NEC.
