Tonight at 10:30 EST/7:30 PST (only a few minutes away!) the second season of the Ashlee Simpson show premieres on MTV. Last season's 8 episodes chronicled the journey of Ashlee creating her album from songwriting to commercial release, and this season will feature everything that's happened since then- including the infamous SNL incident.

 

Be sure to tune in or risk killing yourself out of regret.

Is it really going to have stuff about the SNL incident? From all the commercials I've seen for the new season they haven't shown anything about it, so I figured they're trying to sweep it under the rug.

What do you expect? She's the biggest no talent on TV. She's forced down our throats on both SNL and the Rose Bowl. She deserves everythign she gets, and you deserve everything you get for having no taste.

To bad this show was probably done taping before the Rose Bowl incident. I mean how would they explain that "oh, boys will be boys, hehehehe" ?

 

I only saw the commercials for this, and I can pretty much guarantee all the majority of the "hotel scenes" were taped after the SNL show, just for damage control as earlier suggested.

Crucify me if you want, but I think that Ashlee is pretty damn hot. She dresses like a retard, but when she's dressed normally on her show she's gorgeous.

not that I am sticking up for anyone but.. its ironic how one mistake like this and you have a lynch mob trying to crucify a singer, but the president can get us into a catastrophe of a war effort and still get reelected. funny country we live in

Isn't "forced down our throats" a bit much, Banky? I mean, I haven't seen the SNL debacle at all, and only caught about 10 seconds of the Bowl halftime show on the news a few days later ... it's not like either were hard to avoid.

sorry about posting like that I didn't mean to but I kept coming up with new lines when I went to hit add reply. as for the bush comparsion I was only having a little fun there so whatever. My point is the media reacts to stuff like the snl debacle or the brad/jen split as if its bigger news than anything else, especially when we are losing young men and women every day.

 

I just am sick with our obssesion with celebrities that's all And sick of every quasi famous person getting their own reality show.
