Guest Phenom Report post Posted January 29, 2005 For the actual Rumble prediction thread, click here, here, or here. Not here. That's just confusing. WWE Heavyweight Championship John "Beekeeper" Layfield vs. The Bald Show vs. Kurt Angle Winner: Kurt Angle Or Layfield. It's not going to be Show, I know that. World Heavyweight Championship LL Sensible R vs. HHH Winner: Triple H It's pretty obvious it's going to be a repeat of the easily forgotten PPV Unforgiven. Casket Match The Undertaker vs. Livejournal Winner: Heidenreich This has to be the biggest "WWE-hits-you-over-the-head-with-a-hammer-reverse-psycology" match in at least 5 years. I defy you to find one more obvious. Adam Copeland vs. Shawn Michaels Winner: HBK Just a hunch. This could go either way, but I believe Michaels will win. There's probably another match to be made, so I'll edit this when/if it gets announced on Velocity.
Guest FromBeyondTheGrave Report post Posted January 29, 2005 WWE Heavyweight Championship JBL vs. The Big Show vs. Kurt Angle. Winner: JBL. The Road to WrestleMaina for JBL...begins. World Heavyweight Championship Stacy Keibler's Boyfriend vs. Stephanie McMahon's Husband. Winner: Triple H. 'Cause the Mania booking changed. Casket Match The Undertaker vs. Michael Cole's Boyfriend. Winner: Heidenreich. Snitsky and Kane interfere, and such. Grudge Match Edge vs. Shawn Michaels. Winner: Edge. A beaten and bloody Michaels gives more drama to his entry in the Rumble. Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted January 29, 2005 I depise when people use dumb cutsey nicknames or the real names in an attempt to look funny or humorous. Opening Match HBK Vs Edge *This likely will be the fourmulaic brawl leading to Shawn selling a Ankle injury here(well; not selling but that will be the intent of the story). Shawn goes for SCM but Edge falls into the ref. Shawn tries to cover. Edge gets up and goes for a chairshot and misses, Shawn reaches up for another SCM but Edge clocks the ankle, sending Shawn crashing down. Edge wakes up the ref and locks on the Edgeucution for the tap out victory. * P.S Shawn blades massive here. *HBK is carried to the back and the "will he make it to the rumble?" hype begins* *Various Clips of superstars drawing their numbers is shown* Clip One: Eddy, Mysterio and Booker draw @ the same time. Eddy and Mysterio aren't getting along while booker tries to act as peacekeeper. Booker draws and shows no reaction, Eddy draws and is miffed. Mysterio draws and is very happy. Eddy complains and curses in Spanish as they leave Clip Two: Jericho, Benjamin and Benoit enter the room to draw. Jericho reminds Benoit that he beat him two weeks ago and Benoit returns the favor by adding he beat him and 28 others last year in this match and unlike Jericho, WON the main event @ WrestleMania. Jericho and Benoit get in eachother's faces til Benjamin steps in. They all draw and Benoit shrugs "I won @ #1 Last year, this is nothing". Jericho "Not bad. Not bad at all" Benjamin....".....". They exit. Clip Three: Paul London is drawing when the large Jindrak/Reigns duo come from behind and they tease London. London does a "I got more heart then you got" spiel. The heels laugh it off and draw and laugh as they leave. London appears dejected as he leaves. Clip Four: Batistia and Flair come to draw. Batistia draws and simply doesn't react. Flair loses his mind. *Bonus Match CW Title Funaki Vs AKIO *A short match with champion Funaki making a open challenge on Heat and Akio, accepts it. AKIO comes close but Funaki squeaks by with a cradle pin* *Edge celebrates in the back and Angle congratulates Edge on beating a hasbeen* *Batistia and Flair pep up the champ but Batistia makes subtle shots @ Triple H closing with "Hey, good luck. Not that you need it. You're the champ and stuff right? U dont need luck or us. Right? of course not" WWE Title Triple Threat *4-8 minutes of comedy; leads to a 'serious' 5-10 more minutes with Angle hitting a AngleSlam on TBS but JBL shoves Angle away and steals the pin for the win* *Stacy gives Randy a goodluck kiss* World Title Triple H Vs Randy Orton *15-20 Minute match leads to the annual Hebner bump. Flair hands a chair to HHH but Orton knocks it away. Batistia strolls down and Grabs Orton and smiles @ HHH and gives a thumbs up. Triple H turns around to taunt the crowd. Batistia tosses orton to the side and Thumbs...DOWN. HHH turns and eyes bulge. Kick Wham Batistia Bomb. Flair is flipping out. Orton protests and eats a Bomb as well. Triple staggers up and goes for a Pedigree but Orton counters into a RKO for the title win. *Quickie Promos from the rumblers* Casket Match Undertaker Vs Heidenreich *10 minute brawl leading to the "arrival" of Kane and Snitsky. Match ends in a No contest.*
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2005 WWE Championship: JBL vs. Kurt Angle vs. Big Show I don't see JBL losing the title yet, and there have been plenty of rumblings of a barbwire match with Show at No Way Out. Kurt is headed to a program with either HBK or Taker, neither of which would involve the title. WINNER: JBL World Championship: HHH vs. Randy Orton Orton got the last word on RAW, but now has a bum knee. Plus Trip just won the title two weeks ago. Orton has no chance here. WINNER: HHH Casket Match: John Heidenreich vs. The Undertaker I agree that the Ol' WWE-Trademarked Sledgehammer is normally in effect with situations such as this, but this is Undertaker we are talking about, the timing is right for the blowoff, and the company seems to have no faith in Heidenreich. He gets destroyed here and is either sent back to OVW or released. If they continue this feud to Wrestlemania, they are making a big mistake. WINNER: Undertaker Edge vs. Shawn Michaels This is just a prelude for the Rumble match, especially since Shawn can no longer go like he used to, and Edge has little experience in 30+ minute nights. They go back and forth for a few minutes before Edge snaps and gets DQd. Shawn isn't winning the Rumble, and he needs an excuse for his loss, because God forbid he ever put anyone over. WINNER: Shawn via DQ

Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2005 Well, it'd be nice if Angle, Orton, and Edge won, but it ain't happening. I'm sure Undertaker is gonna win yet again. Although I'd mark out if Angle and Michaels started their feud and interfered in each other's matches costing them the wins.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2005 Michaels over Edge: I want to think Edge goes over here, but I'll believe it when I see it. Heidenreich over Taker: Very hesitant to make this pick, but I guess they go towards the tag team match from Hell at Mania. We'll see. JBL retains. Duh. HHH retains over Orton, but with controversy. I'm guessing a Dusty finish, with Randy being announced as champ, it being over turned, HHH getting a cheap win, etc. That would set the stage for a three way at Mania. Predicted Mania card: HHH vs. Orton vs. Batista JBL vs. Cena Hogan vs. Flair Rey/Eddie vs. Benoit/Jericho Taker/Kane vs. Snitsky/Heidenreich Angle vs. HBK (maybe Edge in there? He's sort of an odd man out) And then some more stuff to fill it out.
clean rob 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2005 WWE Heavyweight Championship JBL retains. There is no point going this far with the tiltle run only to take the strap off him in a seemingly unimportant 3-way (not to mention one where the build has been pretty awful). World Heavyweight Championship Triple H retains. This one is even easier to predict than the 3-way. The Undertaker vs. Heidenreich Taker wins. I see what people are saying about the reverse psychology, but... it's Taker. Edge vs. Shawn Michaels I think HBK is going over, by either sneaking a lucky win in (rollup/pinning predicament/Edge has a pin when the ref is out etc.) or by DQ after Edge goes apeshit. No point blowing off the feud quite yet.
Sonic Reducer 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2005 WWE Heavyweight Championship John "Beekeeper" Layfield vs. The Bald Show vs. Kurt Angle Winner: Angle Won't be Show. World Heavyweight Championship LL Sensible R vs. HHH Winner: Triple H Triple H V. Batista at Mania. Casket Match The Undertaker vs. Heidenrich Winner: Undertaker Just because. Adam Copeland vs. Shawn Michaels Winner: Edge Edge'll get his title shot soon.
Guest eBayBrison Report post Posted January 29, 2005 WWE Heavyweight Championship John "Texas Justice" Layfield vs. The Big Bad Bald Show vs. Kurt "Broken Freakin' Neck" Angle Winner: Angle Get the title off of JBL so that he can change his music from the Texas Justice theme to something more hetero World Heavyweight Championship "Sensible" Randy Orion vs. HHHonk Winner: "The Sensible One" Batista will make his presence known at the PPV in one way/shape/form. Casket Match Number MXIV The Undertaker vs. Heidenrich Winner: Undertaker Cause this match is over used and isn't exciting in the 21st century Adam Copeland vs. Michael Hickenbottom Winner: Shawn Michaels Michaels is bound to go over Edge. Edge will in turn get "screwed" again somehow (most likely due to a ref bump). BRISON
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2005 Considering the way the JBL/Show feud has been built around Joy, there's no real reason their scheduled cage match at No Way Out needs to be for a belt. Angle should win and defend the title against HBK or Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2005 Clip Four: Batistia and Flair come to draw. Batistia draws and simply doesn't react. Flair loses his mind. Gold Jerry, gold. I can imagine Flair throwing a tantrum accidentally knocking over the tumbler w/ all the numbers in it. Then, getting on all fours trying to find another number all the while Batista rats out Flair's # (since he was peeking) to the official running the drawing . . . but did he give him his real number or a more cushy number? Tune in only on ppv.
