Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted January 31, 2005 And on Monday morning, he called his lawler to see how he could get out of raw and simply learned he'd been free for over a month. Michaels: "Hey, Lawler. I want to go to SmackDown. Is there any way for me to get out of my contract with Raw?" Lawler: "You want to leave Raw? Why? Raw has all the puppies!" Michaels: "Yeah...um, that's great. So how do I get out of my Raw contract?" Lawler: "Puppies!" Michaels: "Impure thoughts are sinful, you know. So could you stop thinking about puppies for one minute and find a way for me to get out?" Lawler: "Puppies!" Michaels: "Forget it. I'll just have Nunzio get me a fake expired contract. That way, I can sign with SmackDown." Lawler: "Puppies?"

Guest Loss Report post Posted January 31, 2005 I'd put Christian and Chris Masters in Evolution, and also Trish as a group valet, made over in expensive clothing and jewelry.
MARTYEWR 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 I'd put Christian and Chris Masters in Evolution, and also Trish as a group valet, made over in expensive clothing and jewelry. Speaking of which, do you know where Raw's biggest star is these days? I heard a rumour about her seeing a doctor about her neck, but nothing definite. Didn't know if you knew anything, Loss. evilhomer 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 As of a speech by Vince McMahon in October 2002, people can't simply jump shows anymore. There has to be a trade. Except for two ways: Two) The storyline contract expired, and was bought out by the other brand. AKA The Matt Hardy Clause. I'd do this, Have HBK show up on Smackdown and announce that while he was out with his injury, he didn't know nor did The Raw offices realize that his contract expired with raw in mid december. Since he had not resigned with Raw, that effectively made him a FREE AGENT. And on Monday morning, he called his lawler to see how he could get out of raw and simply learned he'd been free for over a month. So monday afternoon; he called up Theodore Long and promptly signed a new contract...with Smackdown. Bischoff finds out about it that night during Raw and goes ballestic, and tells coach "Looks like one of our raw superstars has just jumped to Smackdown". Bischoff threatens legal activity but according to the Board of Directors; there's nothing shawn did that was illegal. Right, so Raw "management" didn't realize that the contract of 1 of their top stars expired w/out them realizing it? That seems a little far-fetched. I also think HBK might have noticed that he hasn't gotten a paycheque for over a month The best way to handle the situation is to allow an interpromotional match, have Angle pull out a clean but screwy win and go on bragging about it with the confidence that HBK can't get him. Then let him shit his pants as HBK gets drafted over to Smackdown. For Batista, they'll tease it for a couple more weeks with HHH expecting a bye at WM. Dave will grudingly accept until HHH runs his mouth too much causing him to snap. Overall I'd say this spells the end for Evolution. The only way that new members are ever accepted is if they are different and superior to their successors. There's nobody on the horizon who has either quality. Guest Loss Report post Posted January 31, 2005 Speaking of which, do you know where Raw's biggest star is these days? I heard a rumour about her seeing a doctor about her neck, but nothing definite. Didn't know if you knew anything, Loss. I don't know where she is. Truthfully, she should have been allowed to compete in the Royal Rumble. We all know she could wrestle four hours without a break if need be, and she definitely could have easily taken Batista and thrown him over the top rope before going on to defeat HHH at Wrestlemania. It's what the people demand to see.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 A nice little twist might be for Batista to say that he's challenging JBL for the title, only to have HHH try to talk him into challenging him on Raw, so that he can lay down and make sure HHH retains at Mania. That woud finally piss Dave off enough that he just clocks HHH and says "You want me to face you at Wrestlemania? Oh, I'll face you. But I'm not laying down, I'm going to win the World Heavyweight Title." Then he could pick HHH up, powerbomb him, and hold up the title before walking off. Guest Loss Report post Posted January 31, 2005 I don't think HHH and Batista should touch each other until WM. The anticipation will be crazy by that point. Rock/Brock went that route in '02 and it worked extremely well.
clean rob 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 I also thought about the possibility of HHH giving Batista a 'Hey, it's going to be a shame that you'll be leaving for Smackdown now' spiel before Big dave obviously reveals that he'll be challenging for Trips' title - and if you look at the Raw preview on wwe.com, it looks like that's the direction of Raw tonight. notJames 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 For the first time in a long time, I'm actually interested in a HHH feud. Who woulda thunk it? As for HBK, he'll probably sit out with an injury for three weeks, then jump Angle at No Way Out, and demand a match for WMXXI. Grampa Jesus has gotta rest before the big match, no? strummer 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 For those asking about Trish, here's an update: Trish talks about what she’s been up to… Busy, busy, busy! “2005 has started off as one of my busiest years yet – which is a good thing!” After a relaxing break with family and friends during Christmas, January meant back to business for Trish! January began with a trip to Tokyo, Japan to attend a press conference with Shawn Michaels, Stacy Keibler, Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon to announce the first ever RAW taping which will take place on February 4th in Tokyo. After the press conference Trish flew straight to Puerto Rico for the New Year’s Revolution Pay-Per-View where “just like that”, she won back the WWE Women’s title for a record breaking sixth time! After finalizing the deal, Trish got right to work as an official spokesperson for the company and just finished filming a commercial that will air nationally. Watch for more details and when the commercial will air. After wrapping up a hot photo shoot in L.A for a popular men’s lifestyle magazine, Trish flew back across the country to Toronto to shoot her third cover for UMM Magazine. “This is one of my most glamorous shoots yet, the photographer David just wrapped up shooting sexy Carmen Electra, so I said “I’ve done sexy, let’s do glamour! We shot some really beautiful stuff … I can’t wait to see them!” Trish remained in town as the January 17th edition Monday Night RAW came from the ACC. The 15,000 fans gave a thunderous ovation to Toronto’s own hometown sweetheart. “T.O fans are the BEST! You guys rocked the house, and I thank you for such a warm welcome – the kind of welcome where you feel warm and fuzzy inside! Thanks Toronto!” The cheers quickly turned to jeers as Trish was chokeslammed by Kane and has since been recovering at home, missing last week’s RAW. However, it has given Trish some down time right before she leaves for a 12 day road trip. Following the Royal Rumble and RAW in California, the RAW and Smackdown roster will be in Hawaii for the first ever ‘Super Show’, which is a combined Live Event. Then it is off to Japan where RAW will be taped on Friday February 4th and then to Seoul, Korea for a Live Event. Both rosters will then do another ‘Super Show’ in Anchorage, Alaska. Sometimes a negative thing can be turned into a positive thing, and that is especially true for fans of TrishStratus.com, as Trish’s time at home has also allowed her to do some updates here at TrishStratus.com, watch for those soon! Whew! It’s only one month into 2005 and we have 11 more months to go … that can only mean one thing - there’s going to be plenty of Stratusfaction to deliver this year! thecitythesky 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 Triple H is quickly becoming the official wrestling succubus. A female demon supposed to descend upon and have sexual intercourse with a man while he sleeps??? * the more appropriate word to use would've been "incubus". but even then... it's still about sex. i'm just terribly amused that he linked to the definition without apparently reading it. EDIT: in·cu·bus: Pronunciation Key (nky-bs, ng-) n. pl. in·cu·bus·es or in·cu·bi (-b) 1. An evil spirit supposed to descend upon and have sexual intercourse with women as they sleep. 2. A nightmare. 3. An oppressive or nightmarish burden.

Guest CronoT Report post Posted January 31, 2005 i'm just terribly amused that he linked to the definition without apparently reading it. No, I read it. I just thought that succubus was more appropriate than incubus, since Triple H sucks the heat out of male wrestlers, and not female wrestlers. Besides, we've all known there's something slightly gay about Triple H for years now. So, until they invent a direct term for a gay incubus, this will have to do. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 Right, so Raw "management" didn't realize that the contract of 1 of their top stars expired w/out them realizing it? That seems a little far-fetched. Not for WWE. Mr. America--signed sight-unseen? I also think HBK might have noticed that he hasn't gotten a paycheque for over a month Computer error. "Mmm..yeah...his contract actually expired last May, but he kept getting sent paychecks and making appearances...we never really noticed it expired."
