Immigrants.

In terms of hispanics, it's Mexicans (concentrated mostly along border states like California and Texas, as well as Chicago), Puerto Ricans (concentrated mostly in New York), then Cubans (spread out, and EXTREMELY concentrated in South Florida).

I'm pretty sure there's a hefty Asian immigrant population along the West Coast as well.

Puerto Ricans aren't really Immigrants since they are part of U.S.A. It's like if you live in Washington and move to Oregon.

Different culture, different language, different social standards. It's quite different, and Puerto Rico isn't a state, it's a commonwealth.

In Hawaii they call Filipinos "Flips".

I've heard that term often before and I've never been to Hawaii nor talked to many people from there.

I was just in that area for six months, was even in Daly City a couple times, and I never heard anyone say Flip.

This came about because of a joke I was told (which wasn't very funny so I won't bother repeating it) involving Flips and Mocs, which are apparently native Hawaiians who are gangsta. It was a Moc who told me this, but I didn't understand his slang at all. They're pretty badass. Like fake Samoans, but close enough.

Another thing people say in northern California which I've since heard other places is hella. Like "I'm hella fucked up." or "These chicken tenders are hella good." They say that enough there to make me notice it.

I don't believe I've ever used nor heard the term "hella" whatever except when people mention that we say it a lot and we start mocking it.

Possible I just don't notice it, though. Down here people say "for realz?" and "ya know?" too much, from what I've noticed.

So I guess the veredict is...Illegal Immigrants are ok as long as they don't beg for money.?

I think the verdict for me is, why should I care about something that doesn't negatively affect me?
