HHH probably just wants to wrestle Flair again and he figures what the hell we'll be in Australia, no one in the states will know, so why not. This keeps the potential matchups fresh for the U.S. crowd, while they bring in good gates for a special card. (example being the dual brand shows in Honolulu and Anchorage). I can see a deal where they have Flair turn face before Mania, only to turn back at Mania and try to screw Batista. Of course Batista would still win, making the turn meaningless.
