I've probably seen every episode at least three times.

There was this one show I really loved. I can't remember the name, but it was about these sports stars that all mutated or something and played good vs. evil sports. I think the main protagonist was a skeleton/zombie baseball player. That show rocked.

I did... Vaguely remember it as a young kid...

 

And somebody's signature here reminded me of the Karate Kid cartoon that used to air... God that was some whacked shit.

Who doesn't remember Romper Room? Everyone liked that show except for me of course because I was a weird kid.

 

They did have a very good idea at the end of the show where the woman hosting the show would state all the various people she could see watching the show through her magic mirror.

 

WP -- Curious if anyone out there ever get dissapointed that their name was never mentioned during the show. There's been some major physcological damage occuring to my generation because of that.

Darkwing Duck...another Disney Afternoon show that seemed to only have one full season of episodes, yet were on the air for like 5 years.

 

More like Disney Rerun Afternoon, but I was still watching every afternoon.

Darkwing Duck technically had three seasons with the two ABC Saturday Morning seasons and the syndication season. The first Saturday morning season ran at the same time as the syndication season but there were different episodes.

You're thinking about the show "Mutant League". I remember the show, in particular because it was developed as the animated adaption of a series of Electronic Arts games for the old Sega Genesis.

 

As for whomever brought up Darkwing Duck - GREAT show, although since it was made by Disney, I don't know how obscure one should consider it to be. Still, I adored that program, and I'd love if Disney put it out on DVD (for whatever reason, they've been very slow to release their series onto DVD - hell, they're just now getting around to putting "Gargoyles" on DVD).

Anyone remember the show "Mighty Max"? It was yet another TV show modeled after a toy line (and there's a side question - anyone remember the toy line???).....or maybe the toy line was modeled after the TV show.....anyway, the show was pretty enjoyable - Max, along with his sidekick Virgil and bodyguard Norman, fought monsters with the use of his magic baseball cap. Trust me, the execution wasn't nearly as horrible as it sounds. It was a pretty good show as it had a good mix of action and comedy, and best of all it didn't really take itself too seriously. Plus Max was voiced by Rob Paulson, who's done like a billion different voice acting gigs.

Conan the Barbarian as a cartoon - Who watched that?
