CBright7831 Posted February 28, 2005 Author Report Posted February 28, 2005 YES! SPIDER-MAN 2 GODDAMMIT!!!
Guest JMA Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Woo! Spider-Man 2 won Visual Effects!
LaParkaMarka Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Zhang Ziyi is a terrible presenter. But she was looking very hot, so all is forgiven.
Guest Askewniverse Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 I am but I don't think he deserves to win this year. He should've won three Oscars already and I don't want him to win this year just b/c of the previous times he was robbed GoodFellas, Raging Bull... and Taxi Driver? I don't think Scorsese got a Best Director nomination for Taxi Driver. I'd guess either The Last Temptation of Christ or Gangs of New York for the third one.
Ted the Poster Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 SM2! That's right! *laughs at Bob*
Gary Floyd Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 I, Robot's effects suck. It's gotta just be nom filler. The film version of I,Robot is proof that no matter what, Hollywood will fuck up a classic novel, IMO Good for Spider-Man 2. If anything, Rami should have been nominated for best director

Gary Floyd Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 HOO-HAH~! I shouted that out right when Pacino came out. Got a good laugh out of everyone else
razazteca Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Bad hair male award goes to: A) Counting Crows singer B) Al Pacino C) Jake Gallalgjaljfklahaah
AndrewTS Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Bad hair male award goes to: A) Counting Crows singer B) Al Pacino C) Jake Gallalgjaljfklahaah Eh, it works. It's like he crashed on a couch in the lobby and left a wake-up call for when it was showtime for him.
DokDoyle Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 What was Pachino talking about..I kind of nodded off?

For those who are curious, here's the list of directors who were nominated that year: John Avildsen - Rocky Ingmar Bergman - Face to Face Sidney Lumet - Network Alan J. Pakula - All the President's Men Lina Wertmuller - Seven Beauties

Gary Floyd Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 What was Pachino talking about..I kind of nodded off? He was talking how this town is like a great big pussy waiting to be fucked. Well, at least I wish that's what he was talking about

Ted the Poster Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Was that Vin Diesel? I thought I heard a smidge of talent. Might be indigestion though.
Guest Vitamin X Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Don't mind him...he's one of those people that will bitch if anything other than their personal favorite wins. He's not alone Who are you talking about?
bob_barron Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Yea- seeing Vin Diesel in the lifetime Oscar clip was funny

CBright7831 Posted February 28, 2005 Author Report Posted February 28, 2005 I want to go to New York and catch Robert DeNiro walking around.
AndrewTS Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Halle Berry in a Oprah TV movie. LOL
CBright7831 Posted February 28, 2005 Author Report Posted February 28, 2005 Not much Chris Rock tonight, eh?
DMann2003 Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Now I gotta see this "Find Me Guilty"- Vin Diesel showing the promise he had shown in Saving Private Ryan and Boiler Room
Ted the Poster Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 In that Vin Diesel movie, he's the only cast member with any star power. Well, if you count Ron Silver, that's two. Is Beyonce performing all the other songs tonight too? She's not that good, really.
AndrewTS Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Andrew Lloyd Webber and Beyonce. Broadway geeks and music geeks can unite in their hatred.
