NYU Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Yeah. They ruined that match for themselves by shoving Kane in there.
Boon Posted March 8, 2005 Author Report Posted March 8, 2005 And the IC belt won't even be defended at WM21. Lame.
razazteca Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Kane + ladder = bad idea. I don't want to see Kane in the ladder match, the man made TLC4 the worst of the series and now they put him in the cruiserweight gimmick match again...........why?
Matt Young Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Ha! Edge gets a "You screwed Lita" chant!
Guest Trivia247 Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Since there is No Fricken Raw thread... ha Edge Speared Lita sign
Precious Roy Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Kane being in the match shouldn't hurt it too much. There's 5 really good workers in there, all of them with ladder experience, and they'll likely book around Kane's weaknesses and take him out of the action for extended segments. Or hell, maybe Hardy returns and takes him out of the match.... I guess this means something with Hogan for Hassan?
IWD Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Well, they certainly don't seem to be planning to de-push Edge. He was one of the focal points of the whole Bischoff interview. Cheers.
Guest JRE Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 I'm not watching....is it Kane/Edge/Jericho/Benoit/Edge/Christian then? EDIT: Kane's TLC match only sucked 'cause they made everyone in the match put him over way too much. Ya gotta figure that Kane isn't much worse than Bubba and D'Von if he isn't burying everyone.

Having Kane get thrown out of the ring to take a nap for 5 minutes at a time and then return to win was total BS.
IWD Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 I'm not watching....is it Kane/Edge/Jericho/Benoit/Edge/Christian then? Replace one of your Edge's for Shelton Benjamin and you've got it. Cheers.
algrim Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 What about Snitsky? He's been feuding with Benjamin for weeks. He should have a match at Wrestlemania.
Vern Gagne Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 And the IC belt won't even be defended at WM21. Lame. Wrestlemania's like a month away. Plenty of time for Benjamin to drop the title.
Gary Floyd Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 What about Snitsky? He's been feuding with Benjamin for weeks. He should have a match at Wrestlemania. They'll find something for him to do. Just a guess: He'll interfere in the ladder match, one way or another.
Guest Shadow Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 And the IC belt won't even be defended at WM21. Lame. Wrestlemania's like a month away. Plenty of time for Benjamin to drop the title. and who would be in this said match? I guess i could see Hassan winning the title but whose the face?
Guest wildpegasus Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 May as well be the first to mention it. What happens if someone wins the ladder match and they're drafted over to Smackdown? Could make things interesting. And is the power of the briefcase greater than a Royal Rumble victory?
cbacon Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Snitsky has no place on the WM card. And he IC title hasn't been defeneded since WM18, so it's not surprising. I really wish they did the RAW vs. SD! thing though
4hartthreat Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 May as well be the first to mention it. What happens if someone wins the ladder match and they're drafted over to Smackdown? Could make things interesting. And is the power of the briefcase greater than a Royal Rumble victory? For the SD thing, I would assume the person would be screwed. It is a shot at the World Title only. I was curious about the Rumble issue as well, but then I thought about it and I think we already got our answer this year. Even if Batista had gone to SD he was going to be in a triple threat with JBL and the tournament winner Cena. I would assume this contract would be just like the tournament thing and if the Rumble winner is from Raw it would just be a triple threat match. The thing that I'm worried about is will the contract be valid WM night? I would imagine it would be. I would say it goes into affect the second the match ends. And that made me have this horrible imagine flash into my head of like Jericho winning and then later in the show HHH retains and is celebrating in the ring when the camera cuts to the back to see Jericho knocked out on the floor and then Real American hits, Hogan makes his way to the ring and says he just signed the contract and wants his shot RIGHT NOW. He pins HHH and we end the show with Hogan posing in the ring as Real American blares through the stadium just like WM9. OH THE HORROR!!!
Guest Fook_Theta Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Kane is there to take some big bumps and do some creative things. He usually fucks up about 35% of the new spots, but I do give him credit for trying. As long as they give this time and don't do the spot-monkey thing, I'll enjoy it even without the ladder/cage involved. Wish they didn't dilute this with the briefcase stip though, although more the actual briefcase than the contract thing. Although I do have my doubts of them doing the logical thing in swerving Edge/letting him get it. Involving him in some way to see if there are any teeth to his "career of not getting a chance to be a champion."
alfdogg Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Undertaker, Show, Heidenrich, Viscera, Kane, Snitsky Hey, at least I got one right!
Guest Museite Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Does anyone really think the WWE would put six guys in a ladder match if it wasn't tag teams? Nothing surprises these days. If they stick Hassan in it, then we have 7. It would be interesting to see more than one ladder. Did E&C ever do a Con-Ladder-To? I'd mark for that
Scroby Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 With WM21 still being a few weeks away, the WWE might decide to put the IC title on the line as well. Make the match get a bit more hype for it. Ross has been saying how Shelton is tired of not having many challanges for the title anyways on Raw, so I don't see not putting it on the line in the ladder match wouldn't hurt, but then again we could have Kane being IC champion and having a world title shot at the same time. *shudders*
iggymcfly Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Hey that reminds me. Who did HHH beat for the IC Title when he was World Champ in 2002? I know RVD was IC Champ when he faced him, and I was thinking that he lost the IC Title to him for a while, but now I seem to remember Kane winning the shot at the World Title by winning the IC belt. Does anyone remember exactly what the progression of the IC title was at that point?

bob_barron Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 And then Jeff Hardy for a little while. Jeff held the title in 2001- not 2002. It was RVD-Y2J-Kane and then it got merged with the World Title. It came back in May 2003 with Christian winning
SuperJerk Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 I still think its going to be a 3 team TLC match. Why else would it have 6 guys in it? Does anyone really think the WWE would put six guys in a ladder match if it wasn't tag teams? Well, I was sure wrong.
Enigma Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 TLC4 was horrible? Wait, I could have swore it was the RAW Match of the Decade!
