Guest Failed Mascot Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 Are we having the little rings bring people down or is that now canceled?
Guest Failed Mascot Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 Well...I'm going to write my match with those little rings because I want to damnit. I'm also starting now so everybody else should include little rings as well!
Guest Failed Mascot Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 Well then an OAOAST Mod best tell me if we using them or not before I start writing~
King Cucaracha Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 Uhm, WM IV didn't have the little rings. Probably because the entrance aisle consisted of steps. Lots of steps. And I assumed that's the setup we were using, since it was ME who suggested Trump Plaza in the first place. Or course, I stole the idea from (I think) Cal. But still.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 I just remember around AnglePalooza I believe it was the discussion of those little rings being used taking place. No big deal, I can do large and gaudy entrances.
alfdogg Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 anglemania iv buy it now order it and support t the tsunami
Tony149 Posted March 5, 2005 Author Report Posted March 5, 2005 So no carts then? That's cool. Like KC said, they're weren't used at WM IV or V. Maybe we'll bring them out at the GAB or AS this year. BTW, if you guys are going to write promos for AM, let me know so I can format the show without having to cram as many segments in one post. And let's decide whether the show will be on the 27th of April 3rd.
NYU Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 (edited) I still say the show should be on April 3rd. Much easier than actually holding the show on Easter Sunday, where some matches are guaranteed to be late anyway. As for the little-rings, I have a novel idea: Use them for your match if you want to. OR Don't use them for your match if you wish not to. It's not like the difference between some guys using the little-rings and some guys not using them is going to completely throw off the flow of the entire PPV. Edited March 5, 2005 by NY Untouchable
Hoff Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 I believe that *I* said that as well, or tried to. It's an efed, we do have this luxury. The date. Keep in mind that if we move it to 4/3, we then only have three weeks of build until Living Anglelously (or whatever we call the April show this year), unless we move THAT to May 1st. So, something to consider. Part of me actually LIKES only having three weeks, as it's a sort of challenge, but I'm likely in the minority there.
NYU Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 I don't see the problem in having three weeks to hype up the PPV, as opposed to four. I don't think it would make THAT much of a difference, to be honest. Just make sure to have your Living Anglelously opponent ready before AngleMania ends, and you could start hyping up that feud with the first April HeldDown. If you need to, cram three or four segments on a show to hype up your stuff rather than one or two. If we move the show to May, we potentially throw off the flow of the entire PPV schedule. I say moving AngleMania IV is basically a necessity -- at least, for me, it is -- but Living Anglelously should stay where it is.
Hoff Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 Oh, I uh, conquer. 5 points to the first person to catch the pop-culture reference.
Ed Wood Caulfield Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 Well, I'm going to do a hype video for PR/Panther set to Quarashi's "Payback", and a short PRL/Popick segment too. I don't know if Papacita is going to be sending in a Panther promo or segment, though.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 You could even do it a day before Easter. To me the holiday is just another day in which I get some sweet, sweet turkey.
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 I'd say more people are likely to be late because of WM than Easter. I mean c'mon.. holy day vs Wrestlemania? not even a contest
Guest The Mad Cappa Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 Well it's most likely that Cappa isn't going to AM.
Guest Phenom Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 24/7-Italian Championship Unification match Devin Geddon/The Phenom vs. Steven Joseph Popick
Patty O'Green Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 You could even do it a day before Easter. To me the holiday is just another day in which I get some sweet, sweet turkey. I agree with what he says. So when is this show anyway?
Tony149 Posted March 11, 2005 Author Report Posted March 11, 2005 (edited) So when is this show anyway? Let's say the 27th with an option for a few days delay if someone needs more time to finish their match. Edited March 11, 2005 by NY Untouchable
Adam Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Why can't we have it on the 3rd again? I mean yeah, its WrestleMania, but still, there are a few people that won't be able to use Easter weekend to finish their matches and get them in if they are visiting family, etc. At least by the 3rd everyone will have sufficient time. Plus, I think an extra week of build would be good for the show.
HarleyQuinn Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 I'll send in a quick segment or something to keep the Sonic/Cappa thing going. I'm assuming we'll likely build the match towards the April PPV.
Zack Malibu Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 It is confirmed the show will be on the 3rd of April. Oh, and Black T vs. Zack Malibu and CWM~! will be on the show.
Hoff Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 (edited) So so far it seems we have: Drek Stone © vs. Hoff, World Title COD © vs. GPX, Tag Titles Rodez © vs. Superstar vs. Rando vs. K-Money, X-Title, Joy of X Match Axel vs. Crystal The New Original Elite (?!?) vs. Zack Malibu and Caboose Heavenly Rockers vs. NNMX, their crazy stips The 70s Dude vs. Calvin Szechstein, Texas Death Match Panther vs. Tha Puerto Rican, Steel Cage match Prince Killings vs. Brock Ausstin Drek Stone OR Hoff © vs. Axel, World Title So that's ten matches, and a pretty nice looking card. Lemme know if I missed anything there, and sorry if I did. EDIT: are the HI-YAH tag belts on the line? Possibly a Docs/HH rematch? I remember something about that and involving mowing Josie's yard, which is kinda funny in a childish way if you think about it.........heh. Edited March 25, 2005 by Hoff
