I didn't feel that this warranted its own thread, but I didn't see annother topic that it was relative to. I've been buying their almanacs for the past 7 years, because they provide me with much entertainment, and are PACKED with info. Has anyone seen this year's almanac in stores yet?

I haven't seen it, and I've definitely been on the lookout for it, as well. I thought it was usually out by the beginning for February. If it's not out in your area by now, I would doubt that it's coming out there.

I'll be on the lookout for it, too. I have the first edition and all the editions from the past 4 years. And the funny thing is I never find them in the same place as the year before. They always seem to pop out in the weirdest of places, one time on a subway stand, another on a major bookstore, another on a grocery store, etc.

I just wish they didn't take out results of COTC's and title histories that wernen't WWF/WCW/AWA/ECW/JAPAN. I was WAY better the old way.

It's out here in Astoria, Queens at several newsstands. I saw it last night at several palces. I used to find TONS of copies at penn Station. It's out there if you look hard enough.

I remember back in '97, I could not find it ANYWHERE. I finally ended up ordering it out of a PWI issue and it took TWO MONTHS to arrive. It was the weirdest thing ever. The first time I ever saw it in a store was in 2001.

I only found the 96 and 97 in stores havent seen one since, though my friend in high school was able to get the 2000 version.

I'm from Minnesota and my newstand has some left on their shelf. I got mine already. It's good reference material.

I've seen several at Books-A-Million. I haven't bought one, though. I think I'll wait until next year.

Its pretty much the same. They have the usual articles:

Top 10 news stories of 2004

2004 Year in Wrestling - oddly this is written from a mark, and smark's POV

2004 Year in Ratings

2004 PWI 500

Pro Wrestler Stats

Active and Inactive title histories (nice to know that Rhyno has technically been the ECW TV Champ for nearly 5 years)

Pay-Per-View Archive

Whats in - Whats out

The obituaries were omitted this year, though the more note-worthy deaths were in the year review.

There are pics of BIG DAVE, Monty Brown, HHH, Austin Aries, Rey Mysterio and John Cena on the cover.

They actually trimmed it down from 228 pages to 196 pages. They took out the obits section, the WO Hall of Fame section, all the past PWI 500 sections, and the PWI achievement award section. :(

Ewing (Trenton) New Jersey here. We got 5 copies. Went next day and 1 was left. Picked it up.

Haven't read it. Bought it just for the novelty, I think. Probably for the last time.

Austin Aries, Batista, Triple H, John Cena, and I think two others on cover. Midnight green colored.

Oh, the other two are Monty Brown and Rey Mysterio.

Mistake: Mysterio cover picture is from WM 19, the Daredevil costume. Lazy fuckers.

Mistake: Inside back cover Eddy Vs. Benoit "Flashback" picture says the match is from 1996. It's not. It's November-December 1997 or early 1998.

Mistake: Match times for the later WCW PPVs all left out.

I found those three in about 10 seconds.
