I'm so glad Fallout's record has't been broken, and nor should it, by anyone that's currently active at least.

Well, he could either mean that the fed is at a low ebb right now and the lack of real competition in most divisions means that record title reigns don't mean much, or it's just Muzz being an arse. Take your pick.

Well, for one, Fallout defended it just about every show. Every show, I'm not even kidding.

For two, Fallout is one of the single most uderrated writers in fed history. Muzz is one of the few who remembers this.

For three, it's the last 'old school' record that's still standing, unless you count ELM's world title reigns.

I don't dispute that on any level, Zed; I'm not qualified to speak on Fallout's greatness, anyway, or the merit of his title reign. I'm just saying that a comment that amounts to saying that none of the current writers deserve to break his record is a little disrespectful to the guys that are here right now.

Most records eventually fall; I'll bet that there were people who didn't think that anyone was worthy of breaking Edwin's ICTV reign, but Flesher broke it anyway. And I'll bet that some people felt that his record should stand, but that didn't stop Mak from breaking it... which in turn was broken by Grappler, which was, in turn, broken by Maddix. I'd guess that, for the most part, people who were around when records are set are reluctant to see those records broken, in part because it can be interpreted as a tarnishing of the legacy, but that shouldn't speak to the worthiness of the person who breaks the record.

Yeah, but they didn't mean it. :P

Fallout was great. He always wrote. Defended the title all the time. The best man to never win the title.

He just never wrote promos, which probably hurt him, as well as always being the "consistent" guy in stables, so he would never get the recognition he deserved.

You could say he was the Chris Benoit of the Federation.

Nothing but a class writer.

Who would Angel be?

Or Stubby?

Hey, anyone else remember back in the ML when Jay Dawg had a computer virus so he couldn't defend the ML world title for maybe over a month, but Galatea didn't strip him of it? And like now, it's not that big a deal if someone goes a month without defending. Or maybe it is, I don't pay attention too much sometimes.

I've said I'm happy to defend as and when needed, for the record.

It doesn't matter what anyone thinks should happen; if a record gets broke it gets broke. Maddix almost broke it anyway.

Nah, it shouldn't. Go away.

All right all right, I'll behave.

I'm just trying to desperetely cling onto what this fed once was, but I understand how the more recent members might not understand.

Muzz, I can respect that you want to keep the legacy of the old IGNWF alive; I really can. I just don't get why you seem to make it out like the new writers are inferior to the old ones?
