And I don't think theforce.net would have the balls to put something like that up. They already ban people if they give out spoilers, or post hyperspace (you know, the SW.com fan club that costs $39.99 for photos and videos of the making of Episode III) photos and shit like that.

Is a new thread really necessary for every little thing about Episode III? There's already a thread for the trailer, a thread about tickets for the midnight showing, and now this thread (all of which were started by the same person). I'm a Star Wars fan, but all of these threads aren't necessary. This could have easily gone in the Episode III trailer thread.

Don't they also ban people for posting anything that is even remotely negative or critical of George Lucas or any of the movies?

OH MAN that looks awesome. Down in front! though. Buncha fuckin Star Wars geeks there randomly orgasming at times during the montage in the way of the screen. It really does look more "dark" than the others have, though.

I can't wait till I get paid on Friday so I can get my midnight showing tickets..

Why yes, yes they do.

As a matter of fact here's what I had to say about George on their site:

And I bet you people would buy this super ultra edition also, right if just one or two changes were made?

That's like going out to get the whole box set again because your ROTJ dvd has a smudge on it.

It doesn't need to be changed anymore. It's good where it's at.

Greedo will always shoot first. Always. I don't like it, but it's there, and always will be, so get over it.

Lucas will never release the unaltered version again because he's an ***hole. Like he said, it's his movies, and he will do with them what he wants, and there's not a damn thing on the face of the planet we can do about it except cry about it on forums and watch our VHS tapes that are falling apart due to age.

Don't let a few things ruin the movie for you.

Moments later...

Then again, there are people on theforce.net who swear that Jar Jar Binks is a better CGI character than Gollum.

I too read that Kevin Smith post and he got me really stoked for the movie. I have to wonder if the first two movies were to kinda lull us to sleep and then Lucas will come out and deliver his best movie. As in we start with this lighthearted, tedious stuff in Phantom Menace and then by the 3rd film we're in stunned disbelief as to how this little kid is now the baddest mofo ever.

I'm hardly a Star Wars fan but after seeing the trailers and succession of great reviews, I'm beginning to get rather antsy. I enjoyed the movies but if I saw half of one of the movies I probably couldn't tell you which one it was. Hopefully Lucas ends it on a very, very high note. I'm also wondering if it's as dark as everybody says it is.

I believe that was exactly what he was doing.

Good, little Bobby needs a movie that'll put hair on his chest.

Since the last SW movie we have seen both Two Towers and Return of the King, so suffice to say the bar has been raised for Lucas. He almost has to bust it out this time with an ultra bleak, hard hitting film.

Can't wait to hear the soccer moms out there (and you know they will be out there) complaining about how dark and violent this film will be fore their little Bobby...

How was the soccer mom (or whatever they called suburbian housewifes in 1982) reaction to Empire Strikes Back after seeing this great babysitter in the original Star Wars?

Granted Empire isn't horrific in its violence, its just a dark movie where the good guys are trounced by the end

If those soccer moms had any sense of parental responsibility, they would know better than to take little Bobby to a PG-13 movie. They'll have nobody to blame but themselves.

And if they decide to take little Bobby to the movie anyway, they better keep him in check. I don't want him kicking the back of my seat while Anakin and Obi Wan are tearing it up.

Music video, which is apparently from the bonus DVD that will be included with the Episode III soundtrack.

Most of the footage is from the teaser, trailer, and TV spots, so it should be safe for anyone (such as myself) who is trying to avoid spoilers.

That was pretty damn good. To me, some of that footage was new, like the Anakin/Dooku duel, some of the space dog-fights, etc.

Good shit.

I dunno -- I was six years old at the time. But that was then, this is now.

When I worked at the theater, some old people came out of "Toy Soldiers" or whatever it was called with their grandkid (I'm assuming) and started bitching to us because it was such a violent movie and this was their kid's first trip to the theater. I had the nerve to ask them why they would bring a little kid into a PG-13 film for his first movie-going experience. That didn't go over well...

Why on earth would you bring a kid to This flick?

Why because that kid from The Goonies (Sean Astin) and Wes Crusher (Will Wheaton "Crusher" being his role in Star Trek: The Next Generation) are in it?

Never seen it but I would assume the subject matter is something little ones can't even comprehend let alone serve as a "babysitter"

Geez, people have to use their own judgement and LEARN ABOUT THE FILM YOU ARE TAKING YOUR LITTE ONE TO BEFORE TAKING HIM/HER TO IT!

Toy Soldiers was a good movie too, if I recall. But it's been well over a decade since I saw it.

Anyway, I am looking forward to this movie but not as much as ROTK. No way. I know lots of people sorta knew the vague plot of ROTK if they read the book (i.e. ring being destroyed) but literally everyone knows what is going to happen in Episode 3. Already knowing exactly what is going to happen tends to mute my anticipation slightly.

I think KKK was talking about Small Soldiers, a computer-animated movie about action figures that contained military program chips. If I'm wrong and he was actually talking about Toy Soldiers, the old codgers should be smacked on the nose with a rolled up newspaper.

In any event, parents/grandparents/etc. should stop bitching at the theater and develop some common sense. How fucking hard is it to call the theater and wait for the automated message to tell you everything you should know about a particular movie (show times, running time, MPAA rating and the movie's content)?
