We Got WWE 24/7

Recommended Posts

and there ain't shit on!

I mean there's some decent stuff from the late 70s and early 80s here and there, so it's okay for nostalgia, but there just isn't really much on it at this point...or course, it's only 6 bucks so I guess you get what you pay for!

Is it $6 per month, per day, or per block of programming?

Also, where are you located and who is your cable carrier?

it's monthly and you can view whatever they have available as often as you wish...

I'm in Omaha, NE and the provider is Cox...

Trying to remember what was on it this month...Wendy Richter v. Moolah from WM, Dawn/Torrie v. Moolah/Mae Young in a school girl match from last year, one episode of Primetime from the mid 80s (which I watched strictly for banter between Gorilla and Heenan), AWA's Wrestlewar 86 (the only worthwhile thing on currently), a WWE card from MSG in 78 which isn't too shabby, the WWE Divas special from last year, and some deal about Sunny...so it's about what you'd expect for 6 bucks, I suppose...

someone may correct me, but I think they switch their content out twice a month...

Well, here in Huntington, WV, we have shitty Adelphia and they don't carry it. Adelphia was just bought out by Time Warner and Comcast, and TW will be the provider for the state of West Virginia. I am hoping they will carry 24/7, because I'll gladly pay $6 a month.

:P well thats cool for you

but I dont know when Ill get it, Adelphia does suck the proverbial bone when it comes to getting new things ( I waited 3 and a half years for hi-speed internet in my area as well as OD capabaility)

I've got it in Boston through RCN and what I have is a Roddy Piper special from the late 80's hosted by Mean Gene, an MSG show from the 70's and the Monday Night war, which focuses on the RAW after Shawn's collapse from Owen's enziguri and the corresponding Nitro, where we get a decent Harlem Heat/American Males match.

remember they are just starting out so we won't get that 24 7 actual material all at once yet.

That's all well and good, but did you read what I said they were showing...the WWE Divas search? Two Moolah matches? Christ on a stick, give me SOMETHING ELSE, ANYTHING ELSE!

Lincoln = Time Warner

And they are bitches. I asked them once, they said. "We have no current plans to carry that channel."

Does Omaha have a UPN? Lincoln doesn't.

If I wanna see smackdown i have to go to my sister's house who has Dish Network or wait until Saturday afternoon then FOX from Grand Island plays it.

HA! yeah we have UPN...it's amazing that our cities are a half hour away from each other yet yours seems to really suck ass with something as simple as cable TV...

And i always thought Time Warner was better than Cox. I used to laugh at people from Omaha cuz they had Cox and we had TW.

Boy is my face red now.

Supposedly Time Warner is going to "integrate their system with Adelphia's" when they take it over completely by next year. What kind of price range does TW have for you folks?

For digital cable, the HBO package, all the digital channels like ESPN News, Game Show Network, Turner Classic Movies, Classic Sports, etc., and cable internet, I pay a ridiculous $126.26 per month after taxes and fees.

hell we only have the digital box for hbo and that costs 12 bucks, we pay like 55 a month just for the full regular cable package plus the 10 hbo channels. I wonder how the TW takeover will affect my cable?

Sadly $126 sounds about right.

We have digital cable channels...and internet and it's around $115 a month.
